Ohani Franklin

Ohani would have to go to districts in Just a few minutes but she would have to finish ela first.

"Ohani." Mrs. Kenneth spoke. Ohani turned her attention to the TV. "Yes ma'am?" She questioned.

"I've decided we will be sharing our essays. I've choose you as the first to present." She explained. Ohanis heart dropped and she slowly stood.

She walked up to the front of the class as the teacher fumbled with papers on her desk.

Ohani had no problem with speaking in front of a big crowd but the topic she chose to write about is what she didn't want to share.

"Here ya go." Mrs.kenneth handed Ohani her papers. "just say your name, essay name ,your topic and then read. easy 100." She explained.

"My name is Ohani , and the topic I choose is mental health and my essay is titled alien." She explained.

She looked down at her paper as her palms grew sweaty. "Growing up many stereotypes are taught to us whether we know it or not. Not all stereotypes are obvious stereotypes. Some are disguised. Some are normalized. One of the biggest stereotypes I've seen growing up is that people with mental illness are...not able to function like us , and that they are put into special classrooms and looked down on. That's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear that someone Is mentally ill. I thought Like this in the past before I knew more about mental illnesses and how they affect someone. Not all mental illness are displayed by the person twenty four seven. In fact most mental illnesses are easily hidden with medication. You would not be able to point out someone with depression, BPD , or someone in the early stages of Alzheimer's or schizophrenia based off of appearance." She explained then glanced up for a second. In just two more minutes she was done with her essay.

It ended on a darker note so the applause was staggered and gradually grew louder. "Thank you Ohani. I appreciate you for sharing." The teacher spoke as Ohani slipped her paper to the teacher. "I'm gonna write you a pass to the counselors office okay?" She spoke.

Ohani furrowed her eyebrows. "What? I'm okay Mrs. Kenneth. Just my essay." She explained.

"I know but it's protocol and school rules that if I feel...that a student is hurting themselves or others..I have to send you to the CO." She explained.

Ohani sighed lowly and nodded grabbing the pass. She walked to her seat and grabbed her backpack. She walked out of the classroom and to the old building where the counselors were.

She walked in the silent building and furrowed her eyebrows. The hallway seemed to grow longer.

She began walking to the office which Should have been a 39 second walk. She found herself walking in the same direction for five minutes.

She arrived and she felt dizzy. she walked in and passed the note to the counselor. She sat down and placed her bag down.

The counselor went over the note and nodded. "Well I'm gonna have to ask you a few questions Ohani. Okay?" She asked.

Ohani nodded. "But I have a track meet in like 15 minutes, I have to go." She explained.

"If nothing seems wrong you should be out of here just in time." She explained. "And what if something is wrong?" Ohani held the same flat facial expression.

"Then you parents will be called and you'll be evaluated." She spoke and Ohani sighed.

"Oh my goodness. Can I just go?" She asked. "I'm sorry, you can't. Let's make this quick."

"So you already have NPD correct?" She asked. Ohani nodded.

••••••••••

Ohani kept quiet as he held his hand over her mouth. She paused and stared with fear in her eyes.

He stared towards the door. Tyrell tapped her thigh and she climbed off of his member. She sat next to him in bed as he got up.

He slipped his boxers on before grabbing his gun and walking out of the room quickly.

Ohani sat in bed nervous until she heard a female voice speak. She couldn't hear her words clearly.

"Nisha what the fuck you doing here?" He sounded angry.
