Chapter 22: act three

"Oh shut up!" Mike rolled his eyes and pulled out his gun. Then he shot Max.

"You?" El asked. Everyone looked shocked.

"No Jennifer Aniston," Mike rolled his eyes. "Of course Me." That's when two people in a ghostface costume entered and stood next to Mike.

"What the hell?" Eddie whispered.

"These are my helpers!" Mike said excitedly. "You guys ready for act three?"

Both of the people in the ghostface costumes nodded.

First, the one on Mikes left took of their mask.

"Hey guys!" Will smiled with the voice changer up to his mouth.

Everyone stared at him.

Then they looked around and noticed Robin was missing.

"So does that mean..." El started.

"Robin?" Steve asked.

The other person took off their mask to reveal the one and only Gareth.

"It's so easy to make people think you're dead." Gareth laughed. "I mean, I had a funeral and everything."

Dustin shook his head. "No..."

"I mean, how did you guys not figure it out? Me and Will were always away from you guys." Mike rolled his eyes. "You guys are so oblivious."

"I- Mike this is a joke right?" Questioned Jason as he felt tears form in his eyes.

"Heh... I'm afraid not." He whispered. "And for Robin, she's upstairs. And I'm afraid she's not feeling to well." Mike made a fake frown face.

"What was your motive?" Eddie asked.

"What?" Mike and Will Said at the same time.

"Your motive. Will mentioned motives, so tell me, what was your guys motive?" Lucas answered.

"Well let's see." Gareth said. "Mike?" He laughed a little.

"Well folks, let's go back to the day all of this started. It was the day of the assembly. Correct?" Mike looked at the crowd in front of him. They all nodded. "Well that was the same day Riley called Will a f@g, and instead of killing her right away, I wanted to make her life hell." Mike laughed a little before pacing around the room. "That was my thought when comforting Will in the bathroom." Mike frowned a little. "Later that day I saw everyone in this room, plus Chrissy and Robin hanging out at the park. 'Weird combination' was my first thought. So I got closer and listened. I know it was wrong of me but did I care? No." Mike sighed. Then looked at Gareth.

"He heard you guys talking about how 'Riley probably wasn't wrong.' Like what the fuck? Who says that. I was there listening too. I just happened to run into Mike. And luckily, we had the same idea." Gareth explained.

"At the time, I didn't know about this, but Gareth faked his death." Will continued the explanation.

"Still can't believe I fooled you guys." Gareth giggled. "It was easier then expected. And a great way to get off the suspect list."

"Anyways, right before that, he had bought a ghostface costume, which is the one I have on right now. So that's why we have two. Continuing, I didn't know until like what? Two nights before the party. I found the stuff in Mikes bag. It was after the first time Chrissy was attacked. He cried. He explained. And I helped." Will finished.

"Why?" Steve paused. "Why would you agree to help someone like him?" He cried.

"Because im madly in love with him." Will replied as he grabbed on to Mikes arm. Mike smiled and kissed his head.

"And he wanted revenge." Mike shrugged. "And now, it's time for that." Mike started walking closer. Everyone closed their eyes for a second because they flinched. Then heard screaming.

Eddie had just gotten stabbed. And stabbed again, and again. By Will and Mike. They cleaned off their knives at the same time.

"Who's next?" Mike smiled. "Steve?" Mike asked as he gripped on to Steve. "I'm afraid it's time to join Eddie and Chrissy." Mike then stabbed Steve. But Steve fought back. He kicked Mikes leg causing Mike to let go. Little did Steve know that he was going to fall right into Gareth.

"Nice try there fella." Gareth smiled as he gripped on to Steve. "But I'm afraid that it didn't work to well."

"Are you fucking serious?" Steve whispered right before he was stabbed one last time before being dropped on the ground.

"Who's next?" Will asked excitedly.

"I'm just afraid that's going to have to be you." Robin said at the top of the basement stairs with a gun. She shot the gun and shot Will right in the head.

"WILL!" Mike yelled as he knelt down to Will and checked his pulse. Nothing. "Oh you're so going to pay you mother fucker." He ran up the stairs and towards robin, but robin shot his arm and he fell back and hit the floor.

"I guess that just leaves you and me." Gareth said as he slowly walked up the stairs. Robin tried to shoot, but she couldn't. She was out of ammo. Gareth pushed Robin. "To the kitchen bitch!" He screamed as he gripped onto Robin. "Don't think you guys are free yet. I'm going to come back, and you guys better be right where you are now." Gareth said as he pulled Robin by the hair to the kitchen.

He thew her into a chair and tied her up.

"I'll be back." Gareth spit on the ground. He made his way back to the basement. "Walk to the kitchen. Now. I'll be following behind so don't try to escape." Gareth smiled.

Everyone slowly walked up the stairs and walked towards the kitchen.

"Faster!" Yelled Gareth. Everyone sped up.

They finally got to the kitchen. "So, here's what I'm thinking." Gareth started. "Max and Jason were the killers and I just happened to be the only survivor. Sound like a good ending?" Gareth asked as he played with his knife.

Everyone nodded hoping that maybe they won't die.

"Good. Because I love it!" Gareth got excited.

"You're never going to get away with this." Robin rolled her eyes.

"Should I kill you last? So you have to witness all your friends dying?" Gareth laughed

"Well maybe you'll just die first." Someone said at the door. Then boom, a gunshot, shooting Gareth in the stomach. Gareth dropped to the floor.

Everyone looked over.

"Jonathan?" El asked.

"That's the name." Jonathan went to untie Robin. "Where's Will and Mike?" He asked.

"Uhm. Let's just say, Gareth had a little help." Lucas said.

Jonathans heart dropped at that. "W-Will killed people?" He stuttered.

"I'm afraid so." Robin sighed quietly.

"Wait. We have to shoot them in the head, or they'll always come back." Dustin said as he shot Gareth in the head.
