Victoria shouldn't feel this way, empty, sad....hurting. She didn't know what it was like to have her father die but she did know what it was like to have him walk out on her. Victoria and Sarah weren't good enough so he just left, Adam Barron left his wife and daughter as if that wasn't his life.

He walked out that door as his wife was begging him not to leave, his own daughter clinging to his leg crying that she wanted her daddy and not to go. 8 years old and already wondering why he left, if she could have done something to change him from walking out of that door. Maybe better grades, or maybe a more sociable kid, anything that would've made him stay. He was dead to Victoria or at least that was easier for her to swallow then saying he didn't want her, that's why Victoria hurt so much. Her father was dead, at least to her.

Victoria stood in that black dress along with everyone else. They all stood by the sea, preparing for Miyagi's father's death. She held onto the lantern, looking down at it.

No one said anything, it was silent. No words were exchanged, nothing just silence. She watched as Mr. Miyagi bent down placing his lantern in the water watching as it floated away. Daniel stepped up and placed his into the water, Victoria was next as she knelt down and placed her lantern in the water moving back so others could have their turn. She smiled as the three lanterns met up, bobbing as they floated into the sea. She watched until a whole bunch of lanterns bobbed down the sea.

Victoria and Daniel walked away, headed to find Miyagi. Finally finding him on a cliff side, watching the waves as they cashed. Daniel and Victoria sat on both sides of Miyagi, not saying anything for a bit.

"You know, when my father died, I spent a lot of time thinking I wasn't such a great son. Like, maybe I could have listened a little more, or spent some more time with him together. I felt so guilty, you know, like..." Daniel paused for a second. "Like, he did everything for me and I didn't do anything for him. And then one day I realized, I did the greatest thing for him before he died. I was there with him, and I held his hand and I said goodbye."

Victoria looked over to see Miyagi tearing up as well as Daniel. She wiped away a tear from her eyes and opened her mouth.

"You always wish you could do more, give them more, or change something your said. I have so many things I wish I could change before my dad-" Victoria gulped and lied again to herself again. "Died but you can't sit there and blame yourself because life still moves and you just miss it regretting everything."

Victoria wrapped her arm around Mr. Miyagi, her head falling on his shoulder. They sat there in silence watching the sunset.

Fluidity, Victoria told herself as she stepped forward jabbing at Daniel. She tried focusing on her breathing or her punches, or even her posture anything to keep her mind occupied. Victoria could have ended the sparring Mach with Daniel a few times if her mind hadn't been so distracted and that led to Daniel landing the finishing punch.

"Very good, Daniel-San, Victoria-San. Time for next lesson." Miyagi said as his two students bowed to him

They walked out of the Dojo, and down the street. Victoria was confused on where they were going but just followed Mr. Miyagi.

"I don't get something. If Sato hates you so much, why does he give you time to mourn?" Daniel asked

"My father was his teacher. Inside the heart, Sato still know right from wrong."
