Izuku lay atop his fellow deceased brethren, he looks to the sky and asks the heavens, why? Why must he trek so soon upon such horrid ground, where his fellows have fallen and spilt thine horrid blood, blood as gray as this poor soul which felt sadness deep in his heart for those who dared enter this hellish-

"IZUKU GET THE FUCK UP!"

Izuku snapped back to reality, he was laying on the ground surrounded by gray puddles left behind by bakugou's copies. He sighed dramatically and flopped to his side. "Just let me die."

Bakugou looked unimpressed. "Stop being dramatic."

He lifted his head and stuck out his tongue in response. "No."

Bakugou grumbled and stomped right through a puddle towards him. "And stop talking weird, it's creepy when you mumble like that."

"I will steal ye land and torch thine town before I yield to the likes of a tyrant such as you." He flopped back onto his back and splashed another puddle.

"...you read too much."

"Yes." He then looked back to the quickly darkening sky and took a shaking breath. "Am I a bad person?"

Bakugou groaned for far too long before speaking. "Jesus christttttt. This is like the twentieth time today. No, you are not a bad person, we are going to be heroes together, you are in fact worth my time, and no, you didn't kill me. Oh! And I don't feel guilty about it so you shouldn't either."

"...ok..."

Bakugou looked shocked. "Ok? What do you mean ok?"

"I mean ok.. I'll try to stop feeling guilty.."

Bakugou squinted at him. "Really? Just like that?"

"Well not just like that, I did just spend the entire day killing you."

"You weren't killing me!"

"Not the point! I meant I spent the whole day with you and you didn't feel a thing about those copies of you... vanishing... it just, got to me I guess. Honestly, half way through it got easier-"

"And you still complained that whole time?!"

"I never said it didn't hurt! It just got... easier.." he closed his eyes, he relaxed into the grass as a light wind ruffled his hair.

Bakugou still looked pissed but he relented slightly "Well at least it got easier... the only path forward is by pushing your limits! I say we continue this tomorrow."

Izuku opened his eyes and looked at him in mock horror. "Dear. God. No. Besides, I have to go to the doctors tomorrow."

He looks at him skeptically, "Why? You've been sick this whole time?"

He squinted slightly. "No, I have to register my quirk."

Bakugou backs away in disgust, "Ughhh. That shit was so boringggg, it was just nonstop questions and so much poking and prodding, it pissed me off." He turned and saw that izuku had stars in his eyes. "Anddd I should have known, of course you would love that, you are going to your people." He said dramatically.

Izuku grinned like he received a complement. "It's so cool! I'll be with real quirk specialists!"

Bakugo stared blankly. "Yay. You alone with a group of old men. Fun."

"I know right! They are smart and they will learn more about my power than I ever could!" He nodded assuredly.

He took a breath to calm himself, "whatever you say."

After a while of talking, eventually Mitsuki walked out and yelled at them to come inside for dinner, they both rushed inside and sat at the table. Bakugou's father was the last one to sit down because he brought in and set down plate after plate of food.
