stared forward towards his demise with fear in his heart.

For every step he took towards his parents they took a step towards him.

He looked down to his bare feet as he stumbled forward, the grass under his feet felt nice but they tickled the freshly healed scars in a way he didn't like, he knew they wouldn't feel like this forever and he was honestly completely fine that he had them but... his parents were another story. There wasn't really a way for him to hide the scars so he just accepted that they would ask about them then he would be screwed.

For every step he took he got more anxious as he came ever closer to bawling his eyes out in front of the people he cares about.

The moment he saw their feet he stopped and prepared himself to get yelled at.

But instead he felt two warm pairs of arms wrap around him.

"Izuku! Are you ok baby? I was worried sick, then I got that call that you and Bakugou where attacked! Are you hurt? Where are your shoes- WHAT HAPPENED?!" She screamed when she saw the scars snaking up his feet.

"When the fuck did that happen?" Jinn said in a worried tone before switching, "How the fuck did that happen?!"

Inko turned to him with tears running down her face and sobbed out. "Language!"

They both then lead him inside while asking questions a hundred miles a minute.

He would much rather be interviewed by Tsukauchi again, because at least he asked less questions and paused to hear an answer.

Eventually they stopped talking and he spilled his guts, he told them everything that happened, as he told them more and more their expressions differed greatly to each other.

Inko looked absolutely horrified and flinched like she had been struck when he told her about the villian snapping the clone's neck. While Jinn looked like he was about to rush out of the house and break the guy out of custody so he could kill the bastard himself when he was told about how he injured his feet.

To Izuku's surprise, neither looked mad or upset at him. That confused him more than anything.

"Y-you aren't mad at me?" He asks meekly.

Both look at him offended. Inko immediately starts crying again and smothers him in a hug. "Izuku! You were attacked by a villain! My poor baby why would we be mad at you?"

"Dad said not to use sad man's-"

"I said only in life or death! Getting attacked by a villain is a damned good requirement!!!" He yelled dramatically before his voice switched, "how dare you! We said not to!"

Izuku flinched at his words even when he knew that's not what he meant.

Inko spoke again as Jinn guiltily dug through his pockets for his mask. "Sweetheart, if you hadn't done that I would have been upset with you. I'm so happy that you did everything you could to protect yourself and Bakugou!"

"O-oh.." he blushes deeply. His expression reminds Inko of when she used to call him a cute little strawberry when he was younger.

"I'm almost glad he constantly tells you not to hold back." She mumbles quietly, but Izuku still heard.

Izuku blush deepens as tears form in his eyes, Jinn abandons looking for his mask and hugs him, he's suddenly held from both sides as they all tear up together.

Inko hugs him tight and whispers into his ear, "You aren't allowed to leave the house for a month."

He smiles and speaks in a quiet knowing tone. "I thought so."
