what about me?

A/N yeah at this point I've committed myself to writing venti x diluc so maybe 2 extra chapters this time! art found on tumbler

once the two were downstairs diluc noticed that breakfast was ready. He knew this was one of the maids doing but didn't mind. diluc sat down and so did venti, the two started to eat and venti was the one who enjoyed it the most. 

"hey master diluc..what do you want to do today?" venti asked as he looked over at diluc. diluc shrugged as he ate "well if I'm not needed here at the winery then I suppose we can do whatever you want" diluc looked up at venti and saw a bright smile on his face. diluc blushed before he started to drink some grape juice. 

once the two finished diluc went upstairs and changed before they went outside. venti was thinking of things to do but they were soon stopped by moco. she informed him that the shipment of wine that was supposed to be delivered to angel share in mondstat had been stopped by a group of hillichiurals. diluc sighed and told moco that he will take care of it. 

venti followed diluc disappointed that there would be time wasted from the day for the two to hang out. "..master diluc I can help as well.. I've taken care of a tone of hilichurals I'm sure it will be no problem" he said appraising himself. diluc let out a sigh "whatever just keep up" venti nodded catching up next to him as he walked beside him. They soon made it to the wagon with the wine, it, of course, being surrounded by hilichurals while they tormented the poor delivery man

venti and diluc both summon their weapons before they took care of them. of course like venti said it wasn't a problem to take care of them. they soon finished and helped the poor man up, once they did they checked to see if any wine was broken or mission. they checked and everything was ok and untouched until venti decided to try and swipe one for himself but diluc stopped him

"venti that wine is not for you....I suggest you put it back" he said with a serious looked as he crossed his arms. venti sighed and put it back "your no fun master diluc" he said pouting a bit. diluc sighed "well you shouldn't be stealing wine," he said before they started to walk back to the winery. venti followed behind sighing again "I thought you said we could go do something fun so why are we going back master diluc" venti said complaining. 
"well I want to make sure there's nothing else wrong at the winery or anything," he said as he looked down at venti. venti sighed " fineee.....just can we do it quickly I want to do something fun this is boring," he said crossing his arms

they soon made it back to the winery and diluc checked with the maids and everyone if there were any more troubles. to dilucs surprise, there was a tone of things that needed to be done. he sighed leaving venti by himself so he could go deal with these problems. venti was pissed off that he got left behind and was even more bored. He sighed and decided to find the traveler and hang out with him instead to pass the time. venti soon made his way to mondstat and went looking for aether.  once venti found him he went over to him "why hello traveler and paimon! are you two doing nothing today?" he said smiling. 

"Actually we were about to do some commissions," paimon said flouting beside aether. venti nodded "well why don't I tag along I'm sure I can help you with them," he said softly 

"Sure we don't mind. right paimon" aether said looking up at paimon who gave a simple nod. venti nodded as well before the three went off and did their commissions.

after some time they finished and it was lunchtime so aether offered to buy lunch for venti and of course, he accepted. they sat at good hunter and ate but aether noticed venti looked upset or frustrated. 

"venti..you ok?" aether asked him. venti looked at aether and sighed "no....i..ugh..diluc said we could do something fun today but he had a ton of things to do and just left me" he said crossing his arms. aether looked at paimon then venti 

"wait you and diluc?" paimon asked surprised. venti sighed "yes..me and him are kinda a thing now...but that's beside the point..." he said looking down as aether sighed "venti im sure he didn't want to but he still has responsibilities," he said softly 
"I know but..still," he said quietly. 

"look I can't really help here but I'm sure once he's done he will come looking for you," he said as he got up "well me and paimon are gonna e off but here," he said handing him a tiny bag full or mora as thanks for his help. venti thanked him as he took the bag and waved bye to the two. 

venti sat there for a bit as he sighed before getting up and heading over tot he tavern to use his newly earned mora to buy him some drinks. 

after some time though diluc had finished his work. he looked for venti but of course, he wasn't at the winery. he noticed how late it had gotten and sighed. he decided to go see if he was at the tavern since that's where venti liked to go the most. once he got there he noticed how drunk venti was but wondered why since he had no mora, or so he thought. 
"Charles did you give him free wine," he said crossing his arms.

"ah, no sir. he came in here with mora so I served him like a normal customer," he said looking at diluc. diluc sighed and went to venti "venti come on..your drunk let's get you somewhere else" he said as he nudged him a bit.  venti looked at diuc "oooh look whoo finally shoowed up~" he said backing up a bit. diluc sighed "what are you talking about?...come on its time to go" he sadi trying t get venti up but he refused and got up on hes on before just leaving. diuc followed behind him 

"venti...you ok?" he said catching up to him. venti turned around and looked at him "noo~ just..leave me aloone~" he said before walking off. diuc sighed not caring what he said and picked him up putting him over his shoulder as he felt venti beat on his back yelling for him to let him go. he sighed and continued to walk to the winery "look I have no damn idea if you will remember this but I'm sorry i didn't hang out with you today....tomorrow i promise we can" he said as e felt venti stop beating of him "whatever" he said softly

soon they made it back tot he winery. diluc brought venti to his room and put him down. venti went to the bed and laid down,  diluc changed and noticed venti had already fallen asleep. diluc let out a sigh of relief before he got into bed too. he laid down and started to fall asleep when he felt venti grab onto his arm. he looked over at the sleeping bard before he turned over and brought venti closer to him as he soon fell asleep cuddling venti.

A/N finally done with another chapter nowhere near done with the book though :)
