It was barely a moment of stepping outside when I was met with a face I didn't want to see. The Cheshire grin of a maniac, sharp eyes that stared into me. I didn't want to be read. Not by her, and not by anyone.
"Wow, you really laid it all them!" Junko giggled, waving happily. "And not a spot of blood on you!"
"I changed." I began to move away but the girl spun around, blocking my path. How easy would it be... To kill her like I killed the others?
"Ohh?" She tilt her head with curiosity. Another chuckle left her lips, sounding much darker than before. "Did you change your clothes or your mind? I wonder~"
"Do you have something to say?" Quickly brushing off her remark, I clenched my fists, ready to attack if she tried anything. I wasn't in the mood for any of this. Perhaps the only reason I haven't killed her yet is... My debt.
"Of course I do!" Junko rest her hands on her hips. "Sorry honey but I didn't walk all the way here to see your bony ass if I didn't have something important to say." With a heavy sigh, the girl rose her eyes to the sky. "Look up there." Gesturing with a nod, I followed her gaze to the night sky, twinkling with stars. I saw... Nothing important. "This is pointless." I took a step back from her, but she filled the space just as quick. "You're not looking hard enough! That sky will belong to me soon, babe! My plan is done preparing, so I just need you to scurry right back to Hope's Peak to start this shit!" She giggled with joy, but I couldn't be less amused. "You left me to the headmaster." As I said that, she rolled her eyes. "You broke the rules. There's nothing that pisses me off more than rule-breakers. But look, you're free now, so it's all in the past."
I had nothing to say. I continued to stare at her, annoyed, before she broke under my gaze. Junko clicked her tongue, turning her eyes away. "It's so sad. How you were accepted, maybe even loved by the class who took you in. And you went off and attacked one of them." She giggled cutely. Without warning, the girl was leaning on me, wiggling with excitement. "Imagine all that despair! And you don't even know if the gangster lived or not!" She froze up, then returned to a grin. "Wanna find out?"
"Not really." Once again, I made an attempt to escape only to be stopped. A strange fire lit in her eyes and she ran her tongue over her lips. "Come on sugar! Let's fucking blow this place already! I have everything all set up so you just need to get a little more red on your hands and I'll leave you be! Isn't it exciting? Doesn't it make your fucking blood pump to shred someone to little bits!?"
She suddenly blinked, then smiled cutely. "And you're still in my favor anyway. It's so cute to think you have a choice here!"
She's... Right. My freedom for her despair. That was the deal. What choice did I have but to follow her back to the school? It seemed darker than before, like a cloud of despair had sucked the school away.
"Alright, student council is all tucked away. I'll prepare the scene, you just gotta hop in when I'm done. Ready hot stuff?" She gave a wink, but I wasn't amused. I almost warned against calling me that, but it wasn't even worth it. Answering with a nod, Junko hurried into the school, and I followed after. Floor upon floor, reaching the near top of the school, Junko pushed open the door to the council. It shut behind her, but I could listen in somewhat. I heard something about videos, secrets, and then there was chaos. The room erupted into screaming and objects being thrown around. I looked into the door's window to see Junko giving a wave. So this... Killing... Was my purpose...?
I pushed open the door, but nobody seemed to notice my entree. Students of the counsel fighting each other, trying to kill each other, but they'd never get the chance.
It all went black, but I felt exhilarated. The energy running through my body, but not a drop of blood fell upon my clothes. As the world began to return to me, all I smelled was blood and death. I stood in the center of the murders, and there was silence until I heard clapping coming closer. The energy evaporated and I once again felt... Bored.
