Their mission starts now.

The three were formatted into an upside down triangle, making sure that Hisoka was safely secured in the middle as they made their way to Suna. They were quietly scanning their surroundings, checking for any sudden and suspicious movements within the forest.

"So Hisoka, you've been the one that has been exchanging for the two village?" Ino asked, breaking the silence within the group.

"Oh! Yes I am, but this is my first delivering something of great importance. It makes me a little nervous even having this in my hands." Hisoka sheepishly responded, gripping onto the document.

"What makes the document important?" Choji asked along, peaking a bit over Hisoka's shoulder.

"Ah well it's more like a scroll than a document to be exact. As request to keep this safe, Hokage-sama and Kazekage-sama made an agreement to transfer this scroll over to them. It is greatly important." he answered while looking at the scroll in his hands.

"After all, it is a forbidden scroll." he added on.

"Forbidden?!"

The three made eye contact with each other in shock. Tsunade was willing to hand over a forbidden scroll to another village?

This confused Shikamaru, making him ponder on the Hokage's decision. They have many forbidden scrolls locked and stored within the safety of the village, why must this specific one be transferred over?

He turned his head to look back at the open area, thinking of an answer to his own question. It could possibly be connected to them, thus Tsunade being willing to give them the scroll.

For some reason, he feels like there is more to this.

No matter the reasoning, now it made him even more cautious.

"Well don't worry about a thing Hisoka! We'll be sure to keep you and that scroll safe during our travel!" Choji reassured, patting the guy's back and causing Hisoka to stumbled forward a bit.

Ino grinned confidently, flexing one of her arm muscles and patting it in a joking manner. "We'll handle the dirty work for you!"

Shikamaru just kept silent, choosing to listen to them as he continued to observe his side of the triangle.

As they silently walked, another notice came into mind for Ino.

"I've heard that there is someone new running the village now." she informed. "Apparently, he's the youngest Kage to ever run."

"Oh yeah! I've heard about that, I wonder how young he is. I can't imagine handling a whole village at my current age." Choji sighed out, imagining himself being in the Hokage's shoes.

It's unsure how long they had been traveling but the group took notice of the sun beginning to set. They decided to start putting up their tent and rest for the night.

They made sure to eat enough food before heading off to sleep. Before that, they quickly played a game of rock, paper, and scissors to decide on the first watcher.

Much to his dismay, Shikamaru had lost so he was the first one.

He was currently leaning against a nearby tree, making himself comfortable while sitting on the grass. He carefully took out his little fox charm, raising it high in the air with the stars twinkling in the sky. He hummed lowly, watching as the charm moved along with the soft breeze.

"Hope you're sleeping well, where ever you are." he whispered to his charm before tucking it back in his vest, securely closing it. It's a silly thing, even for him. He made sure to do it whenever he was alone or when no one was paying attention to him, his friends would definitely tease him to no end. Embarrassing as it is, it brought him enough comfort so he didn't mind his childish little act.
