*Knock*Knock*

"Little Fox? It's time to wake up, we're given another mission."

When no response is given, Deidara cracked open the door and took a peak inside. With a faint light coming from the desk, he could see a lump of blanket moving up and down, a soft snore coming out from it.

He walked closer up to the lump, gripping onto one of the ends of the blanket, and pulled it up. Underneath the blanket laid Naruto having his body faced backwards. He has a goofy expression on his face, carefree as if nothing was wrong.

Deidara smiled softly at that, shaking his head in fondness. Giving him a few more seconds of rest, he let go of the blanket and started shaking Naruto's shoulder. "Hey, wake up!"

"Ahh~ A few more minutes.. I'm too sleepy.." Naruto whined out lowly, trying to yank the blanket back onto his body.

"Pein is requesting us."

That made Naruto instantly wake up, his body shooting upwards as he stared at Deidara with wide eyes. "He is?!"

"Yep." Deidara nodded, poking Naruto's forehead. "So you better get ready or else you'll be making him wait."

With that, Naruto jumped out of his bed and went straight to the bathroom. Deidara went to his closet and picked out his usual clothes. Naruto is now brushing his teeth, foam still in his mouth as he spoke out. "Do you know why he's calling for us today?"

"Most likely a task, like always." Deidara answered, placing Naruto's clothes on his bed before turning his body to face the wall. Naruto quickly ran out the room after freshening up, grabbing onto his clothes with a quick thank you to the other blond for having it ready for him.

Just when Naruto was about to run towards the direction of Pein's office, he is stopped by a sharp tug on the back. He let out a choking sound, gripping onto the neck area of the cloak so that he could breathe.

"What was that for?! I nearly saw the light, 'ttebayo!"

"We're having breakfast first with everyone else, they're all actually here this time." Deidara informed, maneuvering his arm so that it is now wrapped around Naruto's shoulder. This news made Naruto perk up, eyes widening as a happy grin made its way onto his face. Everyone usually has different schedules due to completion of assignments so breakfast or dinner is quite uncommon to have together.

So this made Naruto excited as the two walked into the dining room.

"Hidan, can you not use your scythe to cut the sausages."

"Huh? Kakuzu mind your damn business will ya?!"

"Those two are at it again."

"Yeah.."

Upon entering inside, the two were greeted with the sight of their fellow teammates. Sasori and Kisume on one side while Hidan and Kakuzu on the other. Konan and Pein were the only two absent from the table, not unexpected as they are always busy handling other things.

It is weird, really. A bunch of wanted criminals and runaways bickering at the table and eating together as if they are a family. Most of them being involved in different things that are mostly looked down upon by many. Strange but it made sense to Naruto since the way they came together are similar in reasoning.

"Senpais! Good morning!" Naruto greeted happily, waving a hand high in the air as he walked towards an empty chair. Deidara went over to the stove, gathering two plates and beginning to place the foods on them.

Hidan stopped his one-sided glaring contest with Kakuzu and turned his attention to Naruto.

"Oh if it isn't the Kiddo!" He greeted back. He then leaned over the table, a look of anticipation already on his face. "Say, you want to help me with finding offerings for Jashin? It'll be great~"
