Milt Barnhill had come to the Red Carpet Hotel to watch Nigel and Patrick perform.

He sat at the bar and greeted Paris the bartender.

"Hi, Paris!" he said.

"Like hi, Mr Barnhill. Long time no see" said Paris.

"Are Nigel and Patrick around?" said Milt.

"They sure are, sir. They're just finishing their last song. While you're waiting for 'em, would you like a drink?" said Paris.

"I'd love one, honey. A nine ounce champagne please" said Milt.

"You got it" said Paris.

As she gave Milt his drink, Nigel and Patrick finished up their last song, put their guitars away and headed for the bar.

A couple of girls ran up to the boys.

"Nigel! Nigel, your guitar playing was fantabulous!" one squealed.

"And you looked so happy on that stage" said the other.

"Oh, thank you, girls" said Nigel casually.

The two girls then kissed him on both cheeks and ran off giggling like hyenas.

"How lovely, Nigel. You've only been performing here for a few weeks and you already have fans" said Patrick with a smile.

"Yeah. I like having fans" said Nigel.

"It must be nice" said Patrick.

The boys strutted over to the bar with a bunch of other fans saying nice comments about Nigel.

"Look at that, Nigel; our guests love you" said Paris.

"Yeah. It actually feels good" said Nigel.

"Face it, Nigel. You're just plain popular" said Milt.

"Oh, hullo, Mr Barnhill. I s'pose i am. I had no idea our fan base would be reduced to only one of us" said Nigel.

"Only one of us?" said Patrick quietly.

"Well, we all know the two of you guys are just the same. In terms of popularity that is. And that calls for a drink" said Paris.

"Thank you, Paris. Could I just have a ginger ale?" said Nigel.

"Oh, Nigel! That's not a drink. Two Screaming Eagles please, Paris" said Patrick.

"You got it" said Paris.

She poured the boys two glasses of Screaming Eagle wine.

Patrick drank it with no trouble at all, but Nigel didn't like it.

"Man, it's smooth" he gagged.

"It should be. It's been out of the cooler since this morning" said Paris.
