Brooklyn's Red Carpet ep. 9- "Nigel, Teen Idol"

Chapter 6

Back at the hotel, Mr DeFranko had come to the lounge to inspect it.

He saw Nigel sitting alone at the bar and approached.

"Nigel, where's Patrick? It's lunchtime in half an hour" said Mr DeFranko.

"I don't know, sir" said Nigel.

"Ya don't know? You don't know where your best friend is? That's more absurd than your crazy old landlord, Milt Barnhill wearing lipstick" said Mr DeFranko.

"I don't know about absurd, Mr DeFranko. I'm worried about Patrick" said Nigel.

"Yeah? What's going on with him?" said Mr DeFranko.

"I don't know. He's certainly not talking to me. He hasn't spoken to me since breakfast. I'm worried he might be mad at me" said Nigel.

"He kinda is, Nigel. He's jealous because you get more teenagers running after you than he does" said Paris.

"Now that's absurd" said Mr DeFranko.

Just then, Maurice, the hotel's chef, chased Patrick out of the kitchen trying to hit him with a spatula.

A ton of teenagers saw Patrick running and tried to rescue him all at once.

"Patrick?" said Nigel.

"What's gotten into him?" said Paris.

"He raided my kitchen! Zis is the second time someone has raided my kitchen!" Maurice yelled.

"Slow down, Maurice. Patrick would never raid a hotel kitchen" said Nigel.

The girls had Patrick crammed against a wall now, and he didn't like it as much as he wanted to. 

"Nigel, help!" Patrick cried.

Nigel didn't hesitate to jump into the crowd and rescue Patrick.

"This isn't how anyone behaves in a fancy hotel! Patrick and I are both the performers here! If you're going to be fans, you have to be fans of the both of us! And not wake us up in the middle of the night or jam us against walls! Now grow up, all of you!" Nigel scolded the teens.

Patrick actually felt a little better now that his friend was defending him. 

"Patrick! Maurice tells me you raided his kitchen" said Mr DeFranko.

All Patrick did was hang his head.

"Both of you, my office! This instant" scolded Mr DeFranko.
