Birthday Part I

Melissa walks into the trauma center handing Anita flowers and an edible arrangement from the gift shop.
Anita, "Thanks Liss." Anita looks at her cousin again, "What's wrong?"
Melissa, "Nothing. How are you doing in here? How did they find you? What did you see? Do your body ache? We're going to get you a nurse and an assistant. And---
Anita takes hold of Melissa hands, "Liss, I'm fine. I told you Joe has already taken care of everything."
Melissa exhales, "As soon as you get out and get better, we can start with your position with the real estate company, and we can buy you an investment property for your own space."
Anita, "Liss, I can pay you back for---
Melissa, "Nita, I'll never take money from you. And besides, I'm not worried about that."
Yasmine, "Elephant in the room. What happened with you and Joe?"
Melissa, "He's had relations with Darcell the first time we were together. And if that's not bad enough, he's making her relevant in our present, future. If he would be like oh it was some bird, I hit that then cool. So, in order for her to have his current number, that means he's been keeping up with her. So that tells me she's more than trick that sucked your dick."

Anita:

Joe comes to the door, "Why you in here talking about my business?"

Melissa ignores him, "Anyways."
Anita, "Joe, is everything okay?"
Joe, "Yeah. Your cousin be big tripping for nothing."
Melissa, "Big tripping because you're a big hoe on four M&Ms. If she meant nothing than she wouldn't be in the presence now and you would have kept her ass in the past."
Joe rolls his eyes, "I told you the truth."
Melissa, "We'll see." Melissa walks out. Joe is calling after her and she keeps walking.
