Yasmine, "Yall can get a room."
Joe, "Don't hate." Goes back to kissing Melissa.
Yasmine, "I'm just glad you two are getting along. Speaking of, Joe yesterday was intense."
Joe, "What do you mean?"
Yasmine, "Wipe the gloss from your lips, number one. And two, the gun thing."
Melissa, "Yeah, that worried me a lot."
Joe, "I'm fine."
Yasmine, "You sure? If something is bothering you, you can come to us and talk. Be in your feelings but for you to---
Joe, "Yas, Liss, I'm fine."
Melissa, "I know it's been a lot on your body---
Joe, "Melissa, I'm fine. Yall know I don't like certain things, and Melissa brung that out of me with her comment."
Yasmine and Melissa looked at each other, and they knew it was best if they let it go.
Melissa, "Okay. Today's Sione's birthday, and he's turning old again."
Melissa laughs.
Yasmine, "You got jokes," laughs with Melissa. Yasmine continues, "My man looks good, so I don't even care. He looks good, is a great husband and father, and knows how to mess up a headboard."
Joe bites an apple, "I'm eating, Slim."
Yasmine, "Oh snap, you haven't called me that in a clip."
Melissa, "Slim where?"
Yasmine, "Shut up."
Melissa, "Anyways, guys, I'm picking up the food and junk food."
Yasmine, "I got the gifts and cake. Joe?"
Joe, "I'm bringing the best part to the party... me, yall welcome."
Melissa and Yasmine roll their eyes at Joe's arrogance.
Yasmine whispers to Melissa, "We're totally egging his car."
Melissa, "Yep. Tagging that engine, too."
Yasmine, "You tryna die."
Melissa, "Go big, YOLO!"
Joe side eyes Melissa and Yasmine whispering side conversation as he flipped through a shoe magazine. He felt they were up to no good as they whispered and laughed.
Joe, "What's so funny?"
Melissa, "Nothing."
Joe, "I know I'm fine. Yall don't have to whisper about it."
Yasmine, "Boy bye. Liss, let's go get this party stuff and get this party started."Sione and Caleb were out shopping with their matching father, son outfit. He looks up to see a familiar face with a familiar young man. Sione tries to avoid the woman, but she calls his name.
Sayorah, "You can't keep running. You send me $2500 a month for Dominik. So somewhere in your heart you believe that he's yours. It's been eight years Sione."
Sione, "Look, I send you money. What am I supposed to do if he is mine? Tell my wife, then what?! Ha! You think I'm going to leave my wife and kids to come and be with you and Dominik in Samoa?! No!"
Sayorah, "That's at least you could come and visit. We need you as well. It's not like you cheated to get Dominik. And the fact that your little "wife" tried to swab my son was out of line."
Sione warns, "Don't speak on my wife, or you won't make it back to Samoa. I have to go." Sayorah swallows hard, "Well, happy birthday, Sione."
Sione heads back to Melissa's in the next two hours. From the driveway he can see balloons and a HAPPY BIRTHDAY BANNER! Every other tree had balloons tied around them and the driveway was full of flower petals, reminding him of the beautiful flowers from back home in Samoa.
