May 26th
Joe woke up super early to finish going through more of his birthday gifts that covered the living room still. Joe smiled at some of the gifts because they were sentimental, like the customized watch with Joe as a baby with his parents and a blanket blown up with the same picture, then another blanket with us pictures of him and Melissa from when they first ever dated until the current year, and jerseys with the family name on it with a note from Melissa "P.S. I have one too" and at the bottom of the box was a picture of Melissa in the family name jersey.

The card reads, "To My Sweet Husband,
Saying I love you is an understatement. I adorn you so much. Whatever we go through there will always be forgiveness in my heart, love on my mind, and home in these arms for you. Your being is priceless, and there's nothing this world can offer me to ever make me give you up. I love you."
-Sincerely, ❤️
Your Wife

Joe wipes his eye, "Damn Liss got me getting emotional." He continues opening his gifts. She got him the newest game console and gear. And their wedding album, which he sat and flipped through.
Yasmine see him in his thoughts as he went through the gifts, so she tipped-toed back out and took the kids to get breakfast at iHOP.
Joe showered and got dressed after playing some fight rounds on his new game.
It was around 11:00 AM when Yasmine, Sione, and Jey came back in with the kids.
Jey, "Hey man, what's sup?"
Joe, "Can't call it. What yall got going on?"
Jey, "About to head to the ice rink and met Liss there."
Joe jumps up, "Let's go."
The kids run to their father and he hug and kiss them all.
Joe, "Peyton, I thought we was doing jumpy house today?"
Peyton, "Yes, but we're going to the ice rink to meet mommy before she has to go to work."
Riley, "Then we can do jumpy house, and you can buy me a new bike."
Joe, "What happened to your other bike?"
Riley, "It's old."
Joe, "Okay. Ice rink, bouncy house, and new bike it is."
Camille corrects Joe, "Jumpy house!"
Joe, "Excuse me Ms. Camille, jumpy house."
JJ, "Mom-ma!"
Joe picks up JJ, "Let's go. She's probably already there." The kids run back to the truck and loads in. Yasmine and Sione follows behind Joe and Jey follows behind Yasmine and Sione.

They all arrive and Melissa is waiting on them all. She hug and greets everyone and Joe swoops her into his arms and places kisses on her lips.
Melissa, "What was that for?"
Joe, "I love my birthday gifts. Thank you."
Melissa, "Awweee, you're welcome."
Joe whispers in her ear, "Don't think I forgot that little stunt you pulled."
Melissa, "How could I forget? It was my pleasure."
Joe, "We will dance again Mrs. Sullivan."

Camille, "Mommy, what size skate do I need?"
Melissa, "Let's go see."
Camille, "And can I have some cotton candy?"
Melissa, "Stinka, all this sugar, you're going to get a cavity."
Camille, "I brush my teeth and floss."
Melissa, "Did you floss today?"
Camille, "Yessss."
Joe carried JJ as he went around the ice rink.
Yasmine played with Caleb and Christopher making them giggle and laugh.
Sione got attention from several women as he went around the ice rink, and he turned them all down.
Jey accepts a phone call.
Jey, "Yeah.... Joe and the whole gang... for real.... in town... okay... we'll come.... alright... see yall tonight."
Joe, "Who was that?"
Jey, "Unc. He said the family is in town for vacay and want to see us."
Joe, "Alright. Let me go tell Liss and Yas."
Joe skates over to Melissa and Yasmine, and slaps Melissa on the ass with his towel.
Melissa rubs her buttcheek, "Ouch."
Joe, "Family is in town. How do tall feel about meeting them for dinner?"
Yasmine, "Cool with me."
Melissa, "As long as you're game, it's fine."
They all leave the cold ice rink, and Joe stops Melissa before she get inside her car.
Joe, "Babies said you have to work today?"
Melissa, "Yes Joe. I have to head home, get some files, and head to work. It won't take long at all."
Joe, "Male or female?"
Melissa, "Female."
Joe nods, "Okay. That's cool."
Melissa, "Even if it was a male, I got to handle my business and that's it."
Joe, "It's not about your intentions, it's about their's."
Melissa, "Who are you married to? Me or them? And I'm capable of telling any man to kick rocks because I'm a married woman. I'll call you when I'm done."
Joe, "You better."
