Melissa, "Anything. Just don't leave me. Look at the camera. It's Yas."
Yasmine fussing, "Don't you ever scare us like that again! And for now on, you're going to include us in on everything. If you're tried, you're going to tell us. Ain't no such thing as secrets. So when we get back, you and Sione better start squealing!"
Joe, "I have a headache."
Yasmine, "GOOD!"
Sione, Claude, and Tommy leave the room as Melissa hangs up with Yasmine.
Melissa, "Damn Ann."

Melissa, "You gon take some time off, give a nigga some notice."
They both laugh.
Joseph, "I thought I was Ike."
Melissa, "You Anna Mae Bullock today, babe. But that's okay. As long as I get to stare into those brown eyes again."
Joseph, "Seeing your green eyes ain't bad either. How did you know to come?"
Melissa, "A woman's intuition and I just knows you. The way your eyes looked, and the way you were behaving. Even if you were well, do you think I was going to let you go at this alone? I know you have Sione, but he'll be from somewhere high with you on the ground alone, and I'm not having it."
Joe, "Billy badass."
Melissa, "Just admit. You need me and want me here."
Joe, "I'm not admitting it. We would have been fine."
Melissa, "You would have got sad if I didn't eventually come. And had an attitude next time I saw you. Admit it."
Joe, "Nope."
Melissa, "Still bullheaded even on your sick bed."
Joe, "That's me."
Melissa, "How do you feel?"
Joe, "I'm getting there."
Melissa leans in to hug Joe and he brings her into bed with him, bear hugging her.
Melissa, "You're so strong to be sick."
Over the night Joe gained a fever of 105.

Melissa on FaceTime with Yasmine.
Yasmine, "That's normal. His body is fighting that infection, and it's coming out."
Melissa, "Okay. That makes me feel better."
Yasmine, "You're going to see a brand new man tomorrow. Joe is going to fight. Him flat lining and then coming back, we all know GOD's grace and mercy are real, and Joe chose to fight. Think about it, most people would be in a coma or nonresponsive. He's talking, responsive, laughing, and having strength; he's on an advanced road to recovery."
Dr. Hannah lays out the options for Joe to Melissa.
Dr. Hannah, "Now we want to avoid surgery. His vitals and everything have improved tremendously. A lot of infectious fluids came up. We're keeping an eye on his white blood cells. We have a screen where you can see his cytes count as well."
Melissa, "Can I go back in?"
Dr. Hannah, "Of course. He's responsive just like before. You said you gave him some medicine before he came here. Can I talk to the doctor or physician that prescribed this?"
Melissa calls Yasmine on FaceTime. Yasmine and Dr. Hannah has a conversation about the medication Joe received. By medical law, it was illegal for Melissa to give Joe the pills from Yasmine's laboratory. The medicine haven't gone through the law motions of being legal, but under the law the medicine helped save Joe's life, so Dr. Hannah agreed to speak in their good graces, and no charges were filed for malpractice.
Dr. Hannah, "Thank you for being honest. Your medicine could help a lot of people. Let's go through the motions of getting this in pharmacies for others."
Yasmine, "Help my brother first, then I'll think about it."
