Foeslayer was up and sitting on her and Arctic's bed. She wished Arctic would show more love for her. He was always super mean to her even though he loved her. Foeslayer let a tear fall on the scroll she was reading. Foeslayer got out her personal diary scroll and started writing,

Dear Diary,

Another day and I feel like Arctic... he just doesn't seem to care for me anymore. It's been so long since we have laughed or had a fun time together. WE've always argued and it hurts me inside when I had to yell back. It also hurts me when I know that Darkstalker and Whiteout hear us argue and fight as well. Hopefully tomorrow will be a little better.

Love,

Foeslayer

Foeslayer blew on the scroll and rolled it up. Then, Foeslayer decided to go nighttime flying. She flew for a little bit and then landed on a cliff. She stared up at the three moons that hung high in the sky.

"I wish Arctic showed more of his love for me. We fight so much and I hate it. I also hate that Whiteout and Darkstalker have to hear all of it." Foeslayer said to herself, tears falling. She heard wingbeats and then a cold air.

"Foeslayer," Arctic said in a quiet voice, "What are you doing up?" He sat a distance away from her, signaling that he probably still disliked her.

Foeslayer gave a small glance and then sighed, "I just needed to go on a flight. I've been feeling depressed lately."

"Why?" Arctic asked in his usual stern voice. "Why are you depressed?"

Now Foeslayer did look at Arctic when she talked. "Do you actually love me or did you just say it to get away from Diamond? H-have you really ever loved before?"

Arctic looked hurt, "Foeslayer I... I do love you."

"You never act like it though," Foeslayer said quietly, "We're always arguing in front of our dragonets. We act like we hate each other... like you hating me. I-I want to share my love with you, Arctic, but you always push me away. I'm starting to think that we were never meant for each other." Tears fell on the rocky cliff surface.

Arctic came over, a lot gentler now. "I'm sorry, Foeslayer. I really am. I do love you and never think that we're not made for each other because we are." He looked into Foeslayer's eyes, leaned in, and kissed her with so much gentleness and love.

Love would always overcome hate no matter how bad it was.
