Peril was listening to Webs drone on and on about The Scorching. It was SO BORING! Peril was so relieved when class was out and now she went out to go hunting. She just recently learned that she liked fish that was lightly browned so she had been trying to catch fish. They didn't burn right away either. The only problem with catching fish was that they kept slipping through her claws.

Peril roared in frustration as ANOTHER fish slipped away. "Stupid fish! Here's an easy reason why you should stop squirming: SO I CAN EAT YOU!" Peril shouted.

"I don't think that's reassuring to the fish." A voice said from behind her.

Peril yelped and whirled around to see Clay. "Clay! What are you doing here?" She said with happiness. Maybe Clay could help her catch these annoying fish (even if he wasn't a SeaWing).

"Well, I couldn't help but be curious when I heard a bunch of frustrated roaring and yelling. Then I saw you near a river splashing around so I decided to come over and see what was going on." Clay said.

"Well, these STUPIDLY ANNOYING FISH won't stay still!" Peril hissed, glaring at a nearby fish that was resting on the river beds near a boulder.

Clay couldn't help but to chuckle a little bit.  "Well maybe if you were just a little more quiet and a little quicker, maybe you can catch one." He tried to sound helpful but it was true that catching fish was hard.

Peril nearly scoffed but she held it back, remembering that this was CLAY that she nearly scoffed to. Instead, she said, "Alright, but I'm still here getting advice from a MudWing that could barely catch a chicken."

Clay laughed even more and nudged her shoulder, "Hey now, that's not a very nice thing to say to one of the Founders of the School!"

When Clay nudged Peril, she couldn't help but blush a little bit. It wouldn't have mattered anyway because she was a bright orange and red SkyWing.

"So, what do you say? Wanna help me catch some of these stupid, slimy, fish together?" Peril asked, her tone hopeful and nervous.

Clay smiled and nodded and the rest of the day, they spent time together fishing. Peril felt like this was the BEST DAY OF HER LIFE. She knew that this was a moment she'd never forget no matter how old she was.

It's been a while since I've updated this story so I decided to make a Cleril ship. Let me know if you want a part two and I'd be happy to take any fandom ships too. Have a good day/night (wherever you may be).

You've reached the end of published parts.
