Violet happily pulled Steve along as they got off the last Rollercoaster the two rode. She had a firm hold on his hand, their fingers linked as she happily strode off to the next thrill.
"Whats next on your list?" Steve asked, he shifted to wrap his arm around her when she released his hand.
"The devil one." She pointed excitedly at the large Rollercoaster a ways away.
"And which one is this?" Steve asked, smiling down at her.
"The fast one!" Violet admitted happily. She took off towards the line, Steve catching up and lifting her to his chest as he took off towards the attraction. He couldn't help himself, she was so fun, so full of life. Since they'd gotten there three hours ago, she'd insisted on riding every Rollercoaster. He laughed to himself that before the serum he would've been throwing up, but now he was lucky to be able to keep up with Violet. He, unfortunately, sat her down when they reached the line. He grabbed her hand again, letting her pull him through the express line.
"Is that Captian America?" Someone asked from the regular line. Violet stopped, Steve bumped into her when he didn't notice she had stopped, but he quickly caught her, holding her against his chest while she caught her balance.
"They recognized you. Did you want to say hi?" Violet asked. Steve looked down at her with a raised eyebrow.
"I get recognized everywhere, it's not a big deal." Steve said, shrugging his shoulders.
"Maybe not to you, but it is to them. You're theyre hero." Violet defended. She pulled Steve back to the people she heard speaking. "Hi!" Violet said happily when she reached the family. It was a woman and three young boys, each staring up at Steve in awe.
"I'm sorry about them." The mother said sincerely. Violet looked up at Steve, her eyes motioning to the young boys before focusing on the mom. "Nonsense. Not everyday a little boy gets to meet his hero." Violet promised. She noticed the youngest of the three was wearing a shirt with Steve's shield on it, smiling to herself when Steve kneeled down to talk to the boys, his focus was on the youngest.
"You're very sweet for letting my boys borrow your husband for a moment." The mom said with a warm smile. Violet ignored the comment and continued to make small talk with the mom.
"We have all day." Violet said with a happy shrug of her shoulders. Steve spoke with the boys for a few minutes while Violet spoke with their mother. When Steve was done, he stood up and put his arm around Violet's waist. "Ready to go? We gotta get you some lunch after this." Steve mentioned. Violet smiled up at him, giving him a nod.
"It was lovely to meet you, Shannon" Violet shouted as Steve pulled her away.
"I'm sorry she thought you were my wife." Steve said as the attendant strapped the two into their seats.
"It was harmless, she was nice!" Violet reassured him. "Are you gonna throw up?" She teased. Steve rolled his eyes at her. "I've jumped out of planes, buildings and everything else you could imagine." Steve defended.
"This is fast though." Violet argued with a laugh while the two waited for the other passengers to get situated.
"Fine. Hold my hand?" Steve joked. Violet looked over at him and took his hand, linking their fingers.
"If you're going to throw up, do it that way." She joked, motioning her eyes to his other side.
"You're no fun." Steve teased. The two held hands while the coaster took off. Steve's focus was on Violet. How happy she looked as the wind blew through her hair, how she wasn't even afraid, she was only excited. The way she almost seemed giddy, their hands tightly together the entire time. When the ride was over he didn't let go of her hand, not until the attendant came and unhooked their harness. He climbed our of the ride first, offering his hand a pulling Violet out of the ride afterwards as they took off towards food.
