Bucky made his way to the back patio at the compound, all the men on the team were already there waiting for him.

"You're late, man." Sam teased. Bucky rolled his eyes and sat down the fistfuls of bags onto one of the glass patio tables. Inside was pink, black and silver confetti, steamers, balloons, signage, candles and everything else you could imagine for a party.

"I had a lot to grab." Bucky said with a shrug. The men spent the rest of the morning setting up the entire patio for the party, Tony even bought a special temporary pool dye, dying the pool water a pale pink.

The group missed breakfast setting up, making sure everything was perfect for Violet's 26th birthday party. Everything had to be perfect for her.

"Terminator, where's the booze? Do I need to head down to the bar?" Tony asked when they were done setting up, all that was left was the caterers when the party was set to start.

"No alcohol, Stark. Non negotiable." Bucky said sternly.

"How fun is a party without getting drunk?" Tony asked, Sam nodded in agreement.

"People drinking makes Violet uncomfortable. If you can't be sober for one day to make her happy, sit this one out." Bucky said just as sternly, looking around at all the men on the patio.

"Why didn't little one ever tell us? We never would've even drank at Cap's party..." Clint said, he suddenly felt bad that he drank a little too much at Steve's party. It made sense to him now why she avoided him and Laura the whole party.

"You know how she is, she was willing to eat meat if it meant not upsetting us. She was willing to freeze in her place so the gas bill wouldn't upset Stark." Bucky pointed out.

"She almost always refuses to pick the movies or dinner, afraid that her choice will upset one of us. She deserves for today to be all about her." Steve chimed in.

"Please tell me someone remembered to invite her brother." Scott butted in with.

"Of course I did, he and Foggy will be here." Bucky said with a smile. He had driven down to Hells Kitchen a couple of weeks ago to make sure Matt was coming. He obviously agreed when Bucky told him the party was for Violet. Matt even confided in Bucky about what he and Foggy had gotten for her.

"No strangers, right Stark? Just the team and their families?" Bucky asked, his attention focused on Tony. He wanted Violet to enjoy the day, strangers walking around would keep her from that.

"Yes, Terminator. Only the team and their families. Parker, however, invited two friends." Tony mentioned.

"Mr. Barnes, they're really nice. Vi will like them. I promise I wouldn't invite anyone that would upset her." Peter promised.

"I know, kid." Bucky said with a nod in Peter's direction. "The party starts in an hour, I'm going to go get my girl. Steve, can you make sure everyone's gifts go on that table we set up?" Bucky asked, Steve nodded. Bucky, Tony, Steve and Clint's gifts were already on the table.

Bucky headed up to his apartment, grateful when he saw Violet was still sound asleep on his bed. He carefully grabbed the second present he had for her from his bottom drawer, putting it in his pocket before climbing in bed with Violet. He happily pulled her to his chest, smiling brightly when she nuzzled into him, tangling her legs up with his. He had to fight back his erection when he remembered Violet had fallen asleep naked last night after sex, that when he wrapped his arm around her, he was met with her bare ass.

"You ready to wake up, doll?" Bucky asked quietly. He started lightly rubbing his hands up and down her back, his hands traveling to her ass as well, giving it a gentle squeeze every few strokes. Violet let out a quiet groan, shifting on his chest.
