"Can you at least let me pay for parking?" Violet insisted when Steve pulled up to the venue next to a parking meter.

"Not a chance." Steve said with a laugh. He jumped out and paid for the night of parking, just so he wouldn't have to worry about running out of time. When he had paid the meter he opened Violet's door and offered his hand to her.

"Why thank you, kind sir." Violet teased as she took his hand. "You've paid for everything this weekend, please let me pay for something, anything." Violet pleaded. Steve shook his head no and took her hand, pulling her towards the building, seeing a line already wrapped around.

"Wow. I hope we can still get close to the stage." Violet said out loud as they approached the line. Steve sighed and walked the two to the door, he hated doing this. But he wanted to make her happy.

"Uh..Captian America? Sir, it's an honor!" The doorman said excitedly. He eagerly shook Steve's hand, a goofy smile on his face as he did so.

"Thank you, can we go in?" Steve asked. He handed the doorman their tickets.

"Of course! Yes, please. Enjoy the show Mrs Captian..." The doorman said nervously, ushering the two inside after handing them back their tickets.

"I thought you hated being recognized?" Violet teased as Steve led her to the closest area to the stage.

"I do. But it got you close to the band, and if it makes you happy I'll deal with it." Steve promised. Violet gently bumped his side. "Softie." She joked.

"Don't tell anyone, it'll ruin my credibility." Steve joked back.

"It's already ruined, you took pictures with like 9 kids today because your big mean wife made you." Violet said with a laugh.

Steve watched Violet as she happily watched the bands set up the stage. The rest of the audience hadn't even been allowed inside yet. He'd laugh everytime Violet would get giddy and flustered if a band member waved at them, her cheeks would flush a deep crimson as she smiled and waved back. When they started to let everyone in, floods of people rushed in, Steve stood behind Violet with both arms holding onto the bar in front of them, keeping her securely in the front, caged in the security of his arms. He knew she was timid, that if anyone tried to push her further back to take her spot, she would have let them. He also knew that she wasn't comfortable around men she didn't know, so he wanted to keep her as close as she was willing so she knew she was safe.

He smiled to himself when she leaned her head back onto his chest to stare up at the stage. "Can you see okay?" Steve asked. Violet leaned her head back until she was smiling up at him. "I don't think we could get much closer than the first row if I couldn't." She joked. The two stood like that until the music started. Steve admired Violet as she sang along to almost every song. He recognized the songs, Violet had most of them in her rotation, but he didn't know any of them well enough to sing along.

He felt Violet shifting from each foot, tired from walking around Six flags all day and then being on her feet for the last several hours here. "Can I pick you up?" Steve asked her.

"Why?" Violet asked, staring up at him. The stage was switching from Seether to Starset, so it wasn't as loud and it gave the two a chance to focus on something other than the stage.

"Because you're tired." Steve said calmly. He stepped back from Violet, hooking his left arm under her knees and picking her up, her back resting against his chest. "Won't you get tired? We still have all of Starset and Lacey Strum." Violet asked.

"I've fought aliens, gods and psychopaths, traveled time and wielded Mjölnir. Do you really think holding a hundred pound woman will tire me out?" Steve asked sarcastically.
