Yeonjun surprisingly did have an interest in books after following his boyfriend, Soobin, into a book store for the first time since he was a little boy.

At first he had no idea what he was interested in or what he was even looking for, just mindlessly following Soobin around, who was looking for a non-fiction book and some other stuff for university.

When Soobin said he had to go check out now, because the line was long that day. He left Yeonjun in a corner with a couch to patiently wait for him without becoming sore on his heels in the line.

So he sat there. Until he got bored.

Curious to the giggling teen girl near him, he peered over her shoulder, reading a bold line.

"Your enemies are my enemies, your friends are my friends, and if you wanted, I would burn down the world for you."

That caught Juni's attention, piquing over the next few pages until the girl noticed.

"Sorry, for interrupting but what's the name of the book?" Yeonjun shyly asked, curious of the story line and ending.

The teenager seemed delighted and happily told him before walking off to her aunt outside the store.

Yeonjun wondered around the book shelves, scanning them from head to toe, to find the author then the book.

As soon as he found the familiar baby blue book, he snatched it off the shelf before running to the counter, standing behind Soobin who just paid for his books.

Soobin turned to him, surprised to find him there but before he could say anything, Yeonjun pushed him out of the way to the counter worker.

When he paid and grabbed a book mark too, since he didn't have any. Soobin quietly treaded behind his boyfriend, who was giggling and hugging the book tightly to his chest.

"See you later, Bin!" Yeonjun pecked Soobin on his lips, before his heel turned and he walked away with the book clutched in his tiny hands.

Soobin stood there astonished.

His boyfriend just bought a book.

Left him for a book.

Before their date.

He chuckled with surprise. Walking away with his hands in his trench coat pockets.

So now. It's been a few weeks.

And during those weeks.

Yeonjun had completely cut off ties with Soobin. Not exactly but his nose was always in books.

He had finished the Twisted Series by Ana Huang, after finishing Twisted Love on the first day.

So now he's been buying and reading every one of her books, up to the most recent one.

He sighed, closing the book cover softly before tucking it softly away on his small bookshelf, that was previously used to store his make up and cute items.

He leaned back into his head board, thinking about what book he should buy next.

He's in love with the way he could picture scenes with words, beautiful chemistry and tension between characters and most importantly the smut.

Yeonjun giggled at the thought before they landed onto Soobin.

Soobin...SOOBIN!

Yeonjun sat up straight before whipping his phone out and messaging his forgotten boyfriend.

He sighed in relief when Soobin replied immediately, asking if he could come over. Yeonjun told him his parents weren't home so it was fine for a few hours.

He waited in the living room, with a book in his hands. He dropped it immediately as the doorbell echoed around him.

He shuffled his feet into slippers as he bolted towards the front door. And when he opened it, he was met with a love deprived puppy boyfriend.

Yeonjun threw himself onto Soobin, hugging him tightly. His cologne that he missed smelling, hugged his nose while his arms hugged him back.

They pulled apart with Yeonjun holding Soobin's hand tightly, pulling him into the house.

Soobin held his cheeks in between his hands, kissing Yeonjun softly, savouring the sweet strawberry wisp of his lip balm. Before his eyes narrowed at the book thrown onto the couch.

Those stupid books that have been stealing his boyfriend from him.

So he did what any jealous boyfriend of an inanimate object would do.

He placed a hand on Yeonjun's waist, pulling him closer. The other on his cheeks, lips hovering over his. Breath tangling and eyes aligning. Soobin kissed him passionately. They moved in sync. Yeonjun opening up his mouth for Soobin to slide his tongue in. Sucking and soft whimpers were heard.

Soobin broke the kiss with a smirk after Yeonjun leaned in for more. So he left a kiss on his cheek instead.

"What about this?" Soobin murmured, lips brushing against Yeonjun's cheek, close to his ear. "Is this how they do it in your books?"

Yeonjun blushed. Painted red and rosy pink.

"Give me some of your time, baby. Those books of yours have got you occupied all the time. Aren't I a boyfriend deserving of your attention and love?" Soobin whined at the end, Yeonjun's face hiding in his chest as they stood holding each other in the middle of the room.

"Sorry, Binnie. I didn't think they'd hold me for that long. Last time I knew, I didn't even like books." Yeonjun's voice mumbled due to Soobin's shirt.

His boyfriend chuckled, "Why don't you make it up to me?"

"How?" Yeonjun looked up with eyes wide, willing to do anything to make Soobin happy.

His voice dropped lower, "Why don't we go to your room and you can read me the parts where you feel tingles and heat in between your legs, that make them squeeze together, sweetheart? Then we'll see if I can do it better." He ended it with a kiss on Yeonjun's temple.

The boy could helplessly nod as Soobin guided him to his bedroom.
