They had been at the compound for a few days now. So far nothing had happened. Aria was in one of the hangers, helping Clint do some repairs on one of the Quinjet's. She had been keeping out of Loki's way, feeling he was still angry with her for not helping Asgard.

Aria was tightening up something, lying on the floor of the jet, while Clint was on the other side, doing the same.

"So, you want to knock down a wall in the kitchen now, get rid of the dining room, so Laura has a work space?" Aria asked, her head almost inside the engine.

"Yeah, why not?"

"It just sounds like a lot of work, when youre supposed to be relaxing. Doesnt she mind?"

Clint laughed.

"Think she is used to it by now" He answered. "You could always come around, help me out. With your powers, I am sure we would be faster"

Aria raised her head, looking over at him.

"You aint putting the blame on me, if she doesnt like your new project" She raised her eyebrows.

"HEY!"

Both Clint and Aria look over at the entrance, finding Loki standing there, looking more than annoyed.

"I'm busy" Aria snapped, putting her head back into the hole.

He walked inside.

"We need to talk" He fired at her.

"What part of I'm busy don't you understand?" She yelled back.

"I don't care Aria" He growled.

Aria could feel her anger rising, quickly busying herself more, asking Clint to pass one of the wrenches. Clint was feeling awkward, passing it and going back to his own work.

"You need to reconsider helping my father. He needs you Loki said. Don't you think you owe it to him, after everything you did?"

It was the final straw, she rounded on him, glaring and glowing purple, as she got up to her feet, standing in front of him.

"I owe him. Loki, he tried to marry off my daughter, and you think I should be playing happy families. Are you insane?"

"Clearly he knows he did wrong, he wouldnt have come to you, if he did"

"He came to me, because nobody else can go up against Holler. Do you know what Loki, its not even about Odin anymore, I have my own problems to deal with" Aria excused herself from Clint, needing to go away and calm herself fown.

She walked away, out of the hanger, to where it was quiet.

But Loki followed.

"Aria, if you dont help him, we will never be allowed back home" He said.

"Damn it Loki, I dont care about going back up there. You are the only one who does"

"Because that is my home"

"Its no longer mines" She fired back. "And it hasn't been mines for a long time now"

Steve walked over to the hanger, having heard the raised voices. Clint sat up in the jet, then wiped his hands on the rag.

"I'm guessing thats Aria and Loki?" Steve asked.

Clint nodded.

"Do you think shes being unreasonable?"

"No. Not really. I mean, he was serious about Aria being a traitor to Asgard. He cant expect her to help straight away, like nothing happened" Clint replied.
