Aria and Loki now lived in the house that belonged to Amora, over in Westview. They had decided to stay there, under the concealment charms that had been placed on the house, so no magical being could find it, or them. It was the perfect cover. They had been there for almost a year now, with nobody finding out where they were. It was hard for Aria, she didn't get to see her children as often as she would like, or her Avenger family and she tried to sort out her relationship with Loki.

This was the hardest thing to do.

As normal as they may have looked to those who lived around them. In the house, they were far from being the couple they had once been. They spent more time apart, than talking about any problems. He spent most of the time away from the house, walking, visiting his brother who lived not far from them.

They argued a lot about everything that had happened. She just couldn't relax and often wondered if they should just separate. Only, Asgardians didnt believe in divorce. Aria had been tempted to go back to the compound after the first three months of this behaviour, but she couldnt risk Odin finding her there, and bringing the fight to them. After all, it wasnt there problem. And she didnt want them all to get hurt.

Over the last two months, she had been going to the compound every week, just to be with them, talk to them. But mostly finding herself in the training room, using the equipment and taking her frustrations out on it.

As she sat in the house, looking over a new book she had purchased, she thought back to what Clint had suggested, to find herself a new hobby. Keep herself busy. Explaining its why he was always doing things around his house. That he always got bored when he had time off. And if he sat down to talk to Laura, it was mostly about work, which she hated.

Tony had given her a cell phone to keep in touch, after showing her how to use it, se found it simple. She called the team and even her children. But it was mostly Clint who had helped her through everything.

Everything had been as normal as it was going to be. They slept in the same bed, but they couldnt sleep further away from each other, if they tried. She had suggested sleeping in different rooms, if it made him feel better, but he shouted at her for this, saying it was a ridiculous idea. She was his wife, this was how it was supposed to be.

This last month, Loki seemed to be struggling with something. She had asked him many times what it was, but he brushed it off, saying he was just tired or he was busy.

There connection they once had, reading each others minds had vanished. She could feel it, but not connected fully. Like it was not healed.

Loki had been out on one of his walks, coming in for his dinner, that Aria had just finished putting onto the table. She looked up and smiled in her usual friendly manner, as she removed her apron, finding he was standing holding a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

Aria was speechless, standing there as he walked closer to her.

"These are for you" He quietly said, smiling.

Arias shoulders relaxed, she hadnt even realised she had been so tense, holding out her hand to take them. Putting them up to her nose and inhaling the sweet, floral scent. She brought her eyes up to his, smiling more.

"Theyre beautiful Loki, thank you"

He bowed his head a little, smiling back at her.

"Youre welcome"

They stood like this for a few moments, before Aria cleared her throat, going over to the unit to find a vase. While Loki went to the sink and washed his hands. She was tempted to ask what the occasion was, but didnt want to spoil his good mood.
