Arias feet landed on the ground. As she looked around, she realised they were over at the lake, where the house now stood, empty. This had been built for herself and Loki, just after they had been married.
Holler slowly stepped away from her, taking a long deep breath, inhaling the smell of the wild flowers that surrounded them. As he turned he saw the house, then the lake, before he saw the rainbow bridge that led up to the gold palace.
Aria took a deep breath, it had been so long since she had summoned the Bifrost, she forgot how draining it was.
But even though she was feeling exhausted, she felt the prickle of a vision. She crouched down, knowing with the little strength, she might collapse.
"Aria, what is it?" Holler asked, looking back at her.
"Exhausted. I havent done that in a while" She explained.
"We shall rest for a moment"
She closed her eyes, sitting down.
Aria watched as they walked towards the palace. Going through the trees. She knew they were not alone. The guards would have heard her enter. Her father would have seen her.
Holler quickly turned around, seeing movement. Before he done anything, he knocked Aria back, as shots were fired.
She landed on the ground, feeling something pierce her side, as Holler ran from her, leaving her behind.
Aria quickly pulled back, finding she was holding her side, and Holler is watching her.
"What did you see?" He demanded.
Before she cold answer, movement caused them both to get up.
"C'mon" Holler whispered, grabbing her hand.
They ran through the trees, stopping and listening. Clearly they were not alone.
"STOP. IN THE NAME OF THE KING" Someone yelled.
Holler turned to run, when someone was shot at them. Aria saw the shot coming, about to move, when Holler used her to get in the way.
The shot hit Arias side, causing her to fall. He looked down at her for a second, before he ran in the opposite direction.
The guards hurried over to her, finding Aria, faced down and wounded. When he turned her over, seeing who it was. The guard was surprised.
"Lady Aria" He said. "I'll go get help"
"No. You must. Stop him. Hes. Going to. Kill. Odin"
They both looked at each other, unsure what to do.
"GO!" She barked, the pain was throbbing.
Both of them scrambled around, running through the trees in search of Holler.
Aria lay there on the grass, she knew her chances were slim at being found again in time. She quickly cast a spell, bringing forth Huginn, one of Odins ravens. Where she quickly gave him a message, sending him on his way.
With a shaking hand, she raised it, bringing the stream of dancing lights of the Bifrost.
Odin was in his chambers, he had been in his council meeting for what felt like an eternity. He had been glad to get out. As he walked towards the balcony, one of his ravens landed there on the wall, holding out a message with his beak. Odin took the piece of paper, gave Huginn a treat, then unrolled it.
Odin, he is here. You are in danger. I could not stop him. Aria.
Odin couldnt believe what he was reading. Aria had done what he requested. He quickly called out for his guards, ordering them to be doubled. As he paused for a moment, he wondered where she was.
