After the altercation, both Basil and Sunny were rushed to the hospital. Basil was filled with regret and guilt as he thought of the doctors attending to Sunny's injuries. He couldn't believe that a simple disagreement over a couch had led to such a violent and devastating outcome. (Neither could I, Basil.)

Sunny was in critical condition and had to undergo emergency surgery to remove the garden shears from his eye. It was a nerve-wracking experience for everyone involved, but thankfully, the doctors were able to save his eye.

As Basil rested in the hospital bed, he couldn't help but think about the consequences of his actions. He knew that he had made a terrible mistake and that he would have to live with the guilt for the rest of his life. He couldn't imagine how he could make things right with Sunny and his family.

Days turned into weeks, and Sunny and Basil slowly recovered from their injuries until they could wake up from their blacked out state. The first thing Sunny did was stare blankly at the ceiling for a few minutes, wincing in pain. He then groggily walked out his door, down the hallway and opened the door leading to Basil's room. Sunny's friends were relieved to see him up and about, but they could see the pain in his eyes. Kel rushed to his side and hugged him tightly, holding back tears. "We were so worried about you, man," he said, his voice cracking.  (Makes sense there is no confession, they already knew.)

Sunny hugged him back weakly, feeling grateful for his friend's support. He then turned to Basil, who was lying in the hospital bed next to him. "Basil, I...I don't know what to say," he said, his voice trembling.

Basil looked at him with a mix of sadness and remorse. "Sunny, I'm so sorry. I never meant for things to get so out of hand," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. (Basil instantly woke up. Cool.)

Sunny nodded slowly, still struggling to process everything that had happened. "I know," he said. "I forgive you, Basil. But we both have a lot of work to do if we want to move forward from this."

Basil nodded, tears welling up in his eyes. "I'll do anything, Sunny. Anything to make it right," he said.

Over the next few days, Sunny and Basil began the long and difficult process of healing and forgiveness. They talked about what had led to their conflict and explored ways to prevent it from happening again. They also worked on rebuilding their friendship and trust.

It was a long and painful journey, but with the support of their friends and families, they were able to make progress. In the end, they emerged from the experience stronger and more committed to living peaceful and respectful lives. (POV: Omori best ending)
