I quickly moved away and walked down to the bottom of the ship where Gamora had led Nebula.

"I'm hungry. Hand me some of that Yaro root." Nebula growled at Gamora, looking at a small plant that sat on one of the tables as I entered the room.

"No, it's not ripe yet." I stated as I walked over towards them.

"And we hate you." Gamora stated plainly as she locked Nebula's cuff to the ship.

    "You hate me?" Nebula scoffed.

    "Okay, whoa. I don't." I clarified.

"You might as well." She hissed at me. "You left me there as you rescued yourself. Then you make all these plans to rescue Gamora too while the both of you stole that stone for yourselves." Nebula said bitterly. "And yet here you both stand, heroes. I will be free of these shackles soon enough and I will kill you both. I swear..."

"No." Gamora shook her head. "You're gonna live out the rest of your days in a prison on Xandar... Wishing you could."

"Gamora." I sighed as I looked at my two hostile sisters. Every word Nebula said was true and it cut right through me. "What happened to us? We used to be so close. Nebula, I'm sorry you feel like I abandoned you. I didn't want to and you may not believe me but it's the truth." Suddenly alarms started blaring. Gamora and I looked at each other and back at Nebula. "Guess our family reunion is gonna be cut short."

Gamora and I rushed back upstairs to the flight deck. Peter and Rocket were both in their seats. We were only just barely away from the Sovereign and already something was happening.

"This is weird." Peter frowned as we approached. "We've got a Sovereign fleet approaching from the rear."

"Why would they do that?" Gamora asked as she took her seat.

"Probably because Rocket stole some of their batteries." Drax relayed simply.

    "You did what?" I gasped.

    "Dude!" Rocket groaned.

"Right. He didn't steal some of those. I don't why they're after us. What a mystery this is." Drax said as seriously as he could.

Suddenly the ship lurched to the side as we were being shot at by the fleet. I wobbled on my feet and held onto the back of Peter's chair to steady myself. I quickly sat down in my chair behind Peter's and buckled in while he maneuvered us away from the fleet of ships trying to shoot at us.

"What we're you thinking?" Peter scolded Rocket.

"Dude, they were really easy to steal!" Rocket said defensively.

"That's your defense?" I scoffed at him.

"Come on! You of all people saw how that High Priestess talked down to us. Now I'm teaching her a lesson!" Rocket explained.

"Oh, I didn't realize your motivation was altruism. It's really a shame the Sovereign have mistaken your intentions and they're trying to kill us." Peter said sarcastically.

    "Exactly!" Rocket agreed.

"I was being sarcastic!" Peter exclaimed.

"Oh, no! You're supposed to use a sarcastic voice! Now I look foolish!" Rocket yelled back annoyed.

"Can we put the bickering on hold until after we survive this massive space battle?" Gamora demanded annoyed.

I began typing into the computer system looking for our next means of escape.
