We hopped from planet to planet for nearly 6 months attempting to find this mysterious gem that Aren had heard about. Between trying to stay hidden from Thanos and Asgard it was no easy feat. I had met Kraglin once with Aren in secret, as his crew was also supposed to be looking for this gem. But he really wanted us to be able to come aboard with them. With his help we finally had found the last map piece that was going to lead us to the Gem of Leguardian. It was supposed to be a giant green emerald that had grown around a impressive diamond. It was rumored to have chaotic powers but most people wanted it to sell for a pretty price.

We stopped on a sandy hot planet and I pulled down my mask that was protecting my face from the hot sun rays and wiped my brow. I looked around the deserted place knowing that I was getting close. I held out a tracker in my hand and it was beeping constantly but I could see nothing.

"Aren, I don't see anything." I said into my ear com that connected with him to our ship.

"You're going to be looking for something small. Could be something as simple as a rock to over turn to open up to the ancient Leguardian tunnels." Aren replied to me as he looked over some old maps in the ship.

We had split up as it was safer for one of us to go and the other to stay in case anything went wrong and I was the stronger of us both. I could survive a cave in or something like that. I began sweeping the ground with my feet. It was rather windy so there was a good chance it had been covered up by sand. I moved around a bit and jut as I was getting sick of searching and about to use my powers to help out. Blasters began shooting at me. I dove sideways and rolled slightly down the sandy hill taking out my own blaster.

I laid on my back and looked over my shoulder seeing three men like creatures approaching the area I was searching. One of them was short and looked like a person made of crystal, while the other two were tall and had patchy colored skin, with black spikes that came out of the tops of their head like hair. The two tall ones held guns in their hands as they looked around coming closer towards me.

"Aren, I'm not alone out here." I whispered as I pressed the communication device.

    "I'm coming, Y/n."

"There's three of them. Don't worry though. I should be able to handle it." I stated and aimed my blaster as they came even closer.

I fired at one hitting him in the chest and forcing him down to the ground. His partner began shooting at me and the smaller man hid behind the bigger one.

"You will never defeat us. So come out and surrender." The creature stated.

"Oh okay, so if I come out then you'll let me leave and not suck out my soul, in turn, turning my body into a shiny crystal shine of my former self?" I shouted back as I hid behind a large hill of sand.

"We promise nothing." It's robotic voice said.

"Yeah, that's what I thought... Leguardians." I huffed to myself and rolled my eyes.

I quickly jumped out and shot as I ran at the tall Leguardian. I flipped over him as he fell to the ground defeated. I held the small one at gun point. Until it's hands flew forward and giant crystals began to form shooting out of the ground at me. I jumped and ran out of the way avoiding the sharp and treacherous tips of the crystals. I used them as they stopped growing like a shield and kept trying to blast the small one. But it was quick.

I couldn't see it and I needed a better view. I leapt up into the air levitating myself with my gifts. As I gained optimal vision of the small and powerful crystal being. I raised my hand to shoot. I wasn't aware of the giant crystal that began to rise quickly out of the ground that was ready to pierce my back.
