THREE MONTHS LATER:

News of the Guardians of The Galaxy had spread like wildfire throughout the galaxy. We had been called out on job after job, cleaning up the galaxy from crooks and evil doers. The six of us together fighting crime. It was like my world had finally fallen into place and I was where I had always belonged. It was nice, because each of us had become closer and closer together like a real family.

I had called my brother Thor in the process of everything knowing our ships calling coordinates were different now. He had called and asked me as an official Avenger to come to earth to help on some mission to locate Loki's scepter. But I had to decline. We were so busy out here there was no way for me to make time to escape or even for the entire crew to come with. But he understood, of course.

Gamora and I had kept our ears open always about any news and whereabouts of our sister Nebula. We had found out she had another warrant on her head after the Battle of Xandar. We had agreed with the Nova Prime to turn her in. And once we heard she was captured on the Sovereign planet for trying to steal Anulax batteries that went for some heavy units on the black space markets. They agreed to hold her and turn her over if we did a job for them in return.

Which is how we ended up here and now on the Sovereign Planet. We had been hired to protect the batteries from the Abilisk, a multidimensional creature who was attracted to the power of the batteries. The Sovereign were a... Different race of people in space that sought themselves higher than anyone else. Which is basically why they hired us in the first place, because they didn't want to fight off the creature themselves.

"Show time, A-Holes!" Peter shouted checking the device in his hands, showing the creature would be showing up soon. "It will be here any minute."

"Don't look so worried, Pete. We got this." I laughed slightly as I loaded the blaster in my hands Rocket had designed for me.

"Y/n is right. It will be it's loss." Gamora stated doing the same.

Peter's furrowed brows turned towards us and he looked seeing the guns in our hands.

"I thought your thing was a sword, and your is all the sparkles coming out of your hands." Peter pointed out.

"We've been hired to stop an interdimensional beast from feeding on those batteries, and I'm gonna stop it with a sword?" Gamora scoffed.

The two had gotten closer, forming a brotherly and sisterly bond which I appreciated most of time. Besides the times that they bickered, which was a good portion of the time.

"And hey, my goddessly power over the stars is powerful, but not strong enough to pierce the skin of an Abilisk." I huffed and rolled my eyes.

"It's just swords and powers were your things, and guns were mine." Peter said childishly. "But I guess we're all doing guns now. I just didn't know that."

I rolled my eyes at his childlike behavior leading me to notice Drax who stood on the opposite side of me. He stood there bare chested as usual, but for this mission that was a problem.

"Drax?" I called out to him. "Why aren't you wearing the Aero-rigs, Rocket made for us?"

"It hurts." Drax grumbled as he looked at me.

    "It hurts?" Gamora scoffed.

"I have sensitive nipples." Drax stated.

Rocket burst out with laughter.

"My nipples hurt! Oh, goodness me!" Rocket mocked as he laughed.

I tried so hard to contain my laughter looking down at Rocket. He was building something that looked like speakers. He and I had gotten quite close. He was closed off still, but out of everyone in the group he associated with me the most. He loved to make me laugh and I loved his sarcastic personality. We fit quite well together. As I looked down at him he grinned making faces and gesturing to his nipples twisting them in a pretend motion and I let a small snicker escape.
