Remy had successfully avoided Braeden since they recorded in the studio the day prior, too embarrassed by her emotionally vulnerability. It was brave of her to give them that song, thinking Braeden wouldn't recognize the very strong references to him professing his love to her. Not that it meant anything, since he still hadn't made a move since she kissed him.

The group of friends all sat backstage together, drinking and playing games before Wallows went to perform. Remy had been glued to Lydia's side the entire night, refusing to be alone for even a moment. When Remy showed Lydia the song she wrote and explained that she had them record it, Lydia couldn't help but be impressed by her courage. "That's ballsy, I love what you've become King," she told her after hearing the entire story. So, Lydia in that moment had decided to be the buffer, allowing Remy to hide just momentarily.

10 minutes before the band was meant to go onstage, Marty barreled backstage out of breath. "I don't want to alarm you, but you must know. You're playing to a sold out venue. There isn't a single seat left in the house."

Everyone began screaming and clapping. Selling out a show in New York City was on the band's bucket list, never thinking that it would actually happen. It warmed Remy's heart to watch them all hug each other and jump up and down together. However, she was caught off guard by the three guys coming up and lifting her in the air cheering for her.

"Put me down," she screamed while hysterically laughing. Everyone backstage was clapping and jumping. For the first time, Remy had understood why people wanted to be recognized for their work. This feeling, the feeling of gratitude and appreciation, was so overwhelming she began to cry.

"Alright Ghost Writer, it looks like you HAVE to do R U Bored Yet tonight," Dylan said shaking her shoulders with excitement.

"I really don't know, it just felt like a one time thing," she explained to the band shifting her attention to her new converse, a gift she bought herself for her birthday.

"Nope, you're doing it. You have to start your birthday out as strong as possible," Cole told her.

She slowly nodded her head after taking a moment to think about it. "Okay, I'll do it," she told them.

When everyone had dispersed from the momentary celebration, Remy was left alone while Lydia spoke to Dylan privately. Braeden took this as his opportunity to finally talk to Remy. "You don't have to be nervous about tonight. Just sing to me, pretend I'm the only person in the room with you," he told her, gently squeezing her arm as a sign of encouragement. She nodded in response, only because her breath had been taken away.

The energy in the concert hall was nothing short of electric. Wallows sounded fantastic, better than they ever had. The entire show Remy could see how happy they all were to be living their dream. However, soon it was time for Remy to go out on stage and she was absolutely petrified. "I don't think I can do this," Remy told Lydia, squeezing her hand tightly from nerves.

"You've done far scarier things in the last 24 hours," Lydia said laughing, obviously referring to Remy having the band record a song about Braeden confessing his love to her. Remy laughed along with her. "You're right. I can do this," she said smiling. Moments later she was on stage singing with her best friends, dancing and living her best life. While on stage she couldn't help but lock into Braeden during her verse. Maybe she needed comfort and he had known her the longest, or maybe it was the feelings the two had hid from each other forever, but she couldn't help but think this was the happiest she'd ever been, having him by her side.

Remy and Braeden had taken too long to get ready after the show and found that everyone had already left for the club that they were partying at.
