Deception

Chapter 2

Lisa didn't plan to stay long in South Korea. She was just there to personally handle a family matter. There were many turns of events that just happened which made her halt whatever she was supposed to be doing. She fell in love with a stranger. She simply fell hard for Irene. She didn't see it coming. It took just one night for her to realize that what she felt for her at the first sight wasn't just a simple admiration. She had this urge to protect her by all means. She met her by accident and she fell harder. However after that she felt that she had to be stuck with her forever.

She had been alone in the city and was missing home and her friends. Her stomach growled because she purposely skipped lunch due to her laziness. She couldn't take the hunger anymore so she decided to go out and look for something to eat. She was about to eat at the third restaurant she spotted outside the city but she saw a lady being harassed by a couple of cracks. She does not normally care about other people's business but she had the feeling that she must save the lady. She was able to fight the men but they were three against her. It was one of the most embarrassing moments of her life. She was supposed to impress the lady but she fainted. She had no idea how she and the lady got spared that night.

Lisa just woke up in someone else's room.  She was kinda disoriented  at the time and was confused as to how she ended up in a hotel. She remembered the troubled lady she met one fateful night. She actually had a lot of questions for her but she did not want to verbalize it. She didn't want the woman to get scared of her. The stranger told her she needed a place to stay for the time being since she could no longer afford to stay long in a hotel and Lisa gladly offered her place without having a second thought. Anyway her place is too big for her. Rather the Song's manor is big enough to accommodate the entire football's team. Maybe she felt obligated as well after knowing that she was left unconscious for several days and the lady took care of her.

Days passed and Lisa's attraction to the stranger grew bigger. For Lisa time is too precious so she doesn't want to hesitate anymore. She learned that the lady's name is Irene after they got intrudoced themselves to each other. She seemed kind and probably single so she asked her if they could date. And to her surprise the latter just agreed. She felt she won a lottery. It did not take long to get her answer but they have a minor problem. She does not know what it is to love or beloved. As strange as it may sound for Lisa she still finds Irene adorable for being naive. She said things can be learned. And she will be there to help her all through out. She even told her that she was just here for a family matter and had to head back abroad but she will surely come back to South Korea to help Irene with her papers and bring her abroad so they won't be separated.

Though they agreed to stay together at Lisa's place. Irene said her family offered her a place to stay and she does not want to bother Lisa. The latter was a bit hesitant but eventually agreed and promised to visit her new found love as frequent as possible and also the latter promised to do sleepovers.

It was the weekend and Lisa invited Irene for a sleepover. She was busy in the kitchen with an apron on and preparing for their breakfast. She was singing a happy song. That's what love can do to an ordinary person like Lisa. When Irene decided to become her girlfriend she promised she would do everything to serve the woman she loves. She taught herself how to cook so she could cook her girlfriend a decent meal. She checked the wall clock and it was time to get those boiled potatoes. She was planning to do something new with those.

They have a very strange set up for a new couple. Whenever Lisa or Irene do sleepovers they don't sleep together. Lisa sleeps in another room after learning that Irene isn't too fond of any physical contacts. Holding her hands is fine but it is still obvious Irene had no experience being in a relationship prior. The tall woman understood and was very patient. She thought maybe everything feels foreign to Irene so she would give her all the time she needed until she would slowly break that walls between them.
