Lisa
What in the world is this place? When I first stepped in the area of the address that was indicated in the calling card, I thought I was entering an old pub. Going to any types of club would be the last thing on my mind. First of all my dream or my last memory of Joohyun gave me a hang up. My entire mind was clouded by her memories. I am still holding on to her promise that she will come back to me. I did try to call her and sent a bunch of messages but she never bothered to even send me a message back. She's really good at torturing me. I could still remember our heated kiss that night. But being an idiot like me, well, I was probably too drunk to even remember all the details of what we talked about and the things we did. Which was why I also thought maybe it was really a dream. My subconscious had been thinking of her so it affected my dreams.
My train of thoughts was cut shortly when a bulky man welcomed me at the main entrance and I showed him the black card from Ms. After he checked the authenticity of the invitation he then led me in a small room that connects to another place. As I got inside it seemed like a huge lounge area that was completely different from the other side. They offer here a variety of drinks. I took a glass of wine from the waiter who served the drink to the new comers then I followed the man shortly.
"Please proceed to the diamond room Ms. Manoban." He instructed.
I opened the room and there were other people inside who seemed to be waiting. A chatty guy seated next to me and introduced himself.
"I'm Lee Do Hyun. My English name is Dylan. Do you speak Korean?" He did his best to speak in English as he thought I wouldn't understand him. Most people had the same first impression of me since I don't look like my dad who is a pure Korean blood.
"Lisa Manoban, and I am pretty good at speaking Korean so you don't have to talk to me in English."
"Whoa, yeah you have an impressive Korean accent. I really thought you only speak English. So how old are you? Are you looking for a job too?" He seemed friendly and it wouldn't hurt if I would be nice to him. At least I wouldn't be bored of waiting.
I was about to answer him but was interrupted when armed men in full battle gear with heavy weapons entered the room. We heard people screaming outside. Everything happened so fast that I felt I was just having a nightmare. "Everybody hands up!" He yelled as he pointed the M4 Carbine on us. We got other companions in the room. Some were crying and praying that their lives get spared. The other three men ducked automatically because they were startled. Do Hyun and I looked at each other.
"Are we in trouble?" I whispered to him.
"I don't know but I am here to apply for a job." He was obviously shocked just the rest of us. "There's no way this is happening."
"The two of you keep quiet!" He kicked the two of us until our faces hit the hard floor. He then put a cover on my head and my wrists were being tied together. I could only feel I was being dragged harshly outside the room. I felt that someone took my phone and wallet from my coat's pocket.
Do Hyun just couldn't shut his mouth which earned him more blows. "Yah!!! Where are you guys taking us?" There was a lot of commotion in our surroundings and I could only regret my decision to meet Ms. Hong. "Lisa, talk to me. Are you still with me?" There was a lace of panic in his voice.
"Shhh, Do Hyun stop resisting and keep quiet." I asked him. It would be a waste of energy if we keep fighting against these men. We had no idea where they were about to take us.
Someone pulled me to get inside a vehicle and I heard Do Hyun groaned as he was forced to get inside as well. No one was really talking and the vehicle started to move. I tried to make some movement and it seemed we were not guarded inside the vehicle.
