Irene
I immediately followed Jennie. Knowing that the Black Ops members are inside the circle is something we should take seriously. This is the first time they do an open recruitment. Plus, I have this unsettling feeling about A. He seemed like someone I know before and I need to deliver to Jennie the code before everything is too late. There's no harm in being cautious.
"Did I forget something unnie?" Jennie asked since I don't normally interfere.
I made sure to say it in a very low voice to avoid the outsiders from hearing it. "Code YELLOW"
This means we are infiltrated and we must protect the circle by all means. It was a careless move by the High Order to do such collaboration with the Black Ops. Didn't they learn anything from the past? A coup was attempted and if it succeeded the High Order will be overturned and the future of the members of circle will be unknown. During the uprising a lot of people died and some went missing. Some were announced as traitors and we never seen them anymore including our guardian.
Yeri has sent the message to all the members of Circle. If the High Order does not care for the safety of the assassins living on the ground then I will take this matter on my hand. We are not allowed to give these outsiders any information about ourselves and should use our code names while the alert is still code Yellow.
What's more strange is the Captain was watching all of my moves. Could he read my mind or my actions? Or am I the problem here? Eversince, I turned to look at him all I see is Lisa. It got me feeling psycho that I have to ensure that I was wrong about my intuition.
The next morning. I gathered my sisters for a quick briefing.
"I got everything in control. All you need to do is to follow the orders and remain vigilant. Jennie will be with them during breakfast and everyone must remain on their best behaviour. This is not a simple infiltration. Maybe they already have people among us and we cannot trust even some of our sisters."
"Unnie, do you think the Black Ops can really do it? Should we tell the members of the circle to trust them?"
"We are not quite sure how far they have been executing their plan to know the success rate. But this has been a well planned mission and I am also hoping they are able to succeed. Our sisters will not join forces with them and to fight back is inevitable. I want everyone to prepare. We cannot afford to lose anyone. Are we all clear?"
"Yes, Irene unnie!" They all answered.
"Say that this would benefit us, but isn't this kind of treason, Irene?" Seulgi asked. And I could see our other sisters agreeing with her.
"It would be a crime to fight against the High Order but if the Black Ops is ready to help us out to be free from being their slaves, then I'll will not stop them. This day has finally come. However, some of our brothers and sisters aren't ready for a change. I am certain they would fight alongside the High Order. We must work together to tell them not to resist."
"But Irene unnie, that's going to be impossible. You know how most of the assassins think." Sooyoung was being skeptical. "Some of them hardly abide code Yellow. I don't see your point of letting other organization saves us. Perhaps, there could be other way that we can do."
"Sooyoung is right, unnie. If this all fails all the assassins who helped Black Ops will be punished." Seungwan rarely says her opinion but she got a point.
"Come on, Unnie here has everyone's best interest. She studied everything if the worst comes to worst. Can't we trust our leader?" Yeri who has been always supporting me tried to encourage our other sisters. "Of course, she wouldn't let anything happen to us. And we can always fight back to protect each other. But if we choose the wrong opponent then that's probably going to waste her efforts. Other assassins will follow us if they could see that we are walking on the same path. That's what unnie has been asking everyone to do."
