-Chapter 28-
☆-[•●•]-☆
All of a sudden, the Karasuno cheerers yelled. "WWWOOOAAAHHHH!!" Yachi even passed out from all the emotions.
"T-That's my little brother over there-! The one with the glasses-" Akiteru started pointing at Tsukishima as he talked to the janitor out of nowhere, Fujima just had to restrain him back.
Daichi suddenly turns around and went to Asahi and gave him a tight hug before fat tears started to cloud his vision. Soon, Sugawara joins in the group hug and cried. Being the tallest, Tsuchiya joins in after and was also holding back tears as he hugged the three of them. The third years can still play, and guess where?
Nationals.
Tanaka suddenly glomped on Kageyama and Hinata and Nishinoya jumped at Tsukishima who fell down from the force and Yamaguchi followed suit. "Tsukki!" Soon, the second years wrapped all the first years with their ugly crying and hugs.
Kiyoko was having a non-stop crying session as she also cannot believe this was happening right infront of her eyes. Ukai and Takeda were also on the verge of crying.
"Hey, it's time to line up." Kageyama called Hinata who's dawdling strangely. "I-I can't stand up-!" Hinata complained. Tsuchiya suddenly came up from behind Hinata and lifted him up to sit on his shoulder and arm. "Tsuchiya-san!" Hinata smiled. "Osu! Let's go line up!" Tsuchiya then ran back to where the others are lined up, with Hinata on his left arm and shoulder while his right hand held Kageyama's hand, on tow.
Both teams bowed simultaneously outside of their court as their cheerers clapped for their teams. "Thank you very much!"
Then both teams shaked hands as a sign of sportsmanship even though lost and the other won, what matters was they all learned and most of all gave their best.
"Damn it, why doesn't that bastard Ushiwaka look more upset?" Oikawa crossed his arms in annoyance. Iwaizumi just grunts in reply, he doesn't wanna talk to someone who just came here to see someone upset and is a crappy person.
"Sorry Hinata, we were trying to close in on that straight but we didn't make it in time. Are you okay?" Asahi asked Hinata who's looking very exhausted. "It's totally fine!"
"It's because the course was so narrow that he was able to pick it up." Kageyama responded.
Up on the bleachers once again, Iwaizumi spoke. "Kageyama does good work."
"You noticed too, Iwa-chan? Apparently when four eyes came back, he gave them some kind of tips or directions on blocking. Like closing in on Ushiwaka's straight. That's why after the serve, Tobio suddenly switch places with the shrimp who was in the path of the cross, because Nishinoya-kun wasn't there." Oikawa explained to Iwaizumi.
"And then he returned the ball at the last moment. Your student's not bad, shittykawa." Iwaizumi said. "He's not my student! And on top of everything, he was able to accomodate with the shrimp who came here to do something different. It's painfully obvious." Oikawa smirked.
"Well, all of their good work only happened because of the blocks of that first year megane." Iwaizumi hummed. "Well it turned out shrimpy is someone you'd end up wanting toss to." Oikawa said as he looked at the court one last time as he stoods up. "No wonder he's got Tobio wrapped around his little fingers."
"Come on, let's go home. I think I'd puke even before the awarding ceremony starts." Oikawa pushed and gestured Iwaizumi to move faster and out of this place. "You really are a crappy guy." Iwaizumi sighed.
