13. "Don't freak out or anything but I may have gotten shot/stabbed,"

"And you're sure you're ok to go back into working,"

"Yes Sam, honestly I'm more worried about you being home alone with a teenager and a small child," Marley tells her husband a joking smile on her face.

"Ha. Ha. You know I just want to make sure," he replies snaking his arms around her waist and pulling her into him. "You haven't been out on the field in a while,"

"Yeah but they gave me an easy one," She says looking around the room for the rest of her supplies.

"What is it,"

"Serial bank robber,"

"Well at least they're kind enough to let you work your way back into it," Sam says with a shrug sitting on the bed as Marley slides a couple knives into her suit.

"Honestly, I think they're just tired of dealing with the situation,"

"That could be it too," suddenly the slaps of two feet running could be heard and a little figure ran into the room. "Incoming," Sam says with a slight laugh as the little boy ran into his fathers arms.

"Hey buddy," Marley says with a smile as the little boy.

"Where you goin mama?" little Drew asks sitting on his fathers lap.

"I got to go into work," She says sitting down next to Sam on the bed. " Ill be back beore you know it," This was the first time that she was going to be away from both of her kids but she knew that Sam had it all under control. Marley looks over at the clock on the wall. "I've got to go," she says standing up and giving Drew a kiss on the head. "I love you boys," She says giving Sam a kiss once he stood up Drew still in his arms.

"We love you too," He says as the trio walks towards the door. "Be careful," Sam says looking at Marley before she walked out the door.

"You know me, I'm always careful,"

"Y'know i didn't really think this was going to be my first job coming back into the field," Marley says stepping into the bank.

"Get on the ground now!" One of the masked men says turning around gun in hand.

"Hmm, no, i just... want to have a little chat," She says taking a couple steps forward. "Why dont you let all these people go and we can have a little chit- chat," the man doesnt move, his companions still gathering money behind him.

"I said get on the ground," The man says moving the gun again.

"And i said no," she moves her hand freezing the robbers, moving guns out of their hands and bags of money back into the vaults. "Ok people on your feet, calmly and cooly exit through the front doors," All the people who were in the bank move towards the doors wanting to get out of the situation. " Ok and now the fun," She un freezes the robbers who are now observing their surroundings. "Wrists please," Marley says walking up towards one of the men cuffs in her hand. Instead he moves for a kick in the shins before making a break for the door. "Ok so we're doing this the hard way," She says using her powers to shut and lock the doors. Noticing that they couldn't leave the group of robbers turn on the girl. It was a little more cardio then the girl was used to, it was six against one, but soon enough she had all the men on the ground cuffs on their hands.

"Honestly, how is it that you al have evaded authorities for as long as you have?" After a moment of catching her breath she notices something protruding from her thigh. "Are you going to want this back or should i keep it?" she asks referring to the knife in her leg. Before anyone could respond cops came flooding into the room. "Are you guys going to need this?" Marley asks one of the cops again motioning to the knife in her leg. The cop shakes her head and Marley nodds. "Great well, my job here is done, you guys have fun," She says before walking out of the room with a slight limp.

"How did this happen ma'am?" a nurse asks as Marley sit on a hospital bed knife still in her thigh.

"Oh you know just your basic bank robbery," She says with a shrug.

"I'm going to have to pull it out know you know that right?"

"Go for it," Marley replies picking up her phone. "Ooh, ouch," she says as the knife was pulled out. Typing in Sams number she brings the phone up to her ear.

"Hey love, how's the robbery,"

"Oh it went fine, those guys went down so quick,"

"So you'll be home soon?"

"Um yeah about that,"

"What happened?"

"Don't freak out or anything, but I may have gotten stabbed," Marley hears Sam sigh on the other side of the line. "It's ok I drove to a hospital, they're fixing me right up,"

"Where are you?"

"Sam you don't need to-"

"Where are you,"

"I'll send you my location," she says with a sigh.
