Prologue

4 Month's later after The 'Someday, This Wish Will Transcend the Morning Sky' event

At Kanade's apartment

We can see Kanade at her room finishing a song that she made for Mafuyu and the others as she used some of the tunes of her mother's music box that was given to her, as her mother's old music box made her realize that she must keep going in order to write songs that will bring happiness to others, which she might accomplish today

As she makes the final touches and downloads the songs she prepared for them to listen in usb's she looked at the photo where she and her group celebrated her birthday and smiled as she remembered when the group was first created, the troubles they faced, and good times they had together, maybe this she can tell Mafuyu-

and then suddenly her train of thought was cut off when someone rang the doorbell to her apartment

Kanade: Could it be Mochizuki-san?

With that she put the usb's that contained their names and placed it somewhere before she headed to the door 

Kanade: Mochizuki-san *unlocks the door and opens it* why are you-

But before she can continue speaking her eyes widen as she saw a adult woman that looked like Mafuyu with the outside having grey clouds that seems it's going to rain soon as thunder can be heard

Ah, this must be Mafuyu's mom, the reason why Mafuyu almost ended her life and was being controlled like a puppet 

Out of all possibilities why now the Devil had to confront her in her own home?

Mafuyu's Mother: You must be Yoisaki Kanade correct?

Kanade: H-Hai you are?

Mafuyu's Mother: Oh, where are my manner's, I'm Mafuyu's mother may I come in, I would like to talk to you about my daughter since I found out you're her friend?

Kanade: S-Sure you may enter, I'll prepare some Green tea 

and as Mafuyu's mother entered, Kanade didn't lock the door and immediately headed to the kitchen to prepare the green tea

But as she done this she immediately pulls out her phone can sends a text to her group(and hopes that Mafuyu is at school and didn't look at her phone so she can't be worried about her) and Honami incase something happens to her

After that she returned to the living room where she was holding a tray that has two cups of Green Tea and a teapot that has more green tea in it incase Mafuyu's mother wanted more

As she placed it in the table, she sits down and takes her cup and drinks from it with Mafuyu's doing the same and from there as they both finished drinking, Mafuyu's mother spoke

Mafuyu's Mother: So how's your father, Kanade?

Kanade: How did you know my father?

Mafuyu's Mother: I have a 'friend' that told me about your family's history, especially how your father ended up in a coma and can't remember you because of working to much from making music 

Kanade: . . .Can we get straight to the point, what to do you want from me?

Mafuyu's Mother: My, my didn't your father teach you how to respect adults?

Kanade: He did but I don't like people talking about my parents out of the blue with no reason

Mafuyu's Mother: Very well then, I want you and your friends to stay away from daughter, you see I wanted her to study hard so she can become a doctor and you and your 2 other friends might distract her from her studies, given that she failed to attend the mock exams due to her being sick, so-

Kanade: What if your daughter didn't want to be a Doctor?

Mafuyu's Mother: Excuse me?

Kanade: What if she wanted to something else instead of being a doctor?

Mafuyu's Mother: I'm afraid she had made her choice of being a doctor and abandoning to make music after we recommended her that for her future

Kanade: But you didn't asked her what she wanted, and forced her to accept the future you wanted for her to have isn't that wrong?

Mafuyu's Mother: Isn't it wrong to choose my daughter's future so she can't suffer from anything

Kanade: In your view but in reality and in our view your impossible expectations to her pressures her everytime, forcing your own opinion to Mafuyu along with your own decisions, and planning her future in your own accord, A mother won't to that to her own child, instead she'll support her children's decisions, but you are nowhere near to a good parent to do that as your making her trophy that you can boast and be proud of, so here's my advice Ms. Asahina, let your daughter pursue her own decisions without guilt-tripping her decisions and see how it'll go, you can do that right?!

After she spoke she took some deep breathes due to she spoke too many word with Mafuyu's Mother staying silent for a while and then she spoke

Mafuyu's Mother: May I take the bathroom?

Kanade: S-Sure, it's lose to the Kitchen

and then she headed there with Kanade standing up and sighs in relief after recovering and checks her phone and saw Ena and Mizuki messaging her that is she okay or did Mafuyu's mom did something to her, Honami telling her that she's coming there within a few minutes and tells her to remain calm and gladly Mafuyu didn't-

Suddenly she heard a male voice saying

"Side step, a knife is about to stab you from behind!!!"

And so she did and was shocked as she turned around to see Mafuyu's Mom wearing black gloves and was holding a knife

Mafuyu's Mother: You're really a bad influence for my daughter, so I guess I have to use this opportunity to make you dead body seem that you committed suicide

Kanade: You're fucking insane

Mafuyu's Mother: If anyone is going to hinder my daughter's progress, then I'll just have to cut the weeds that are joining the grass to ensure my daughter's future

With that Mafuyu's Mom charged at her with the knife, with Kanade doing her best to dodge it thanks to the mysterious male voice

But suddenly she lost her footing and fell into the ground, with Mafuyu's Mother kneeling down and tries to stab Kanade in the chest, but Kanade manages to hold the the mothers hands that was holding the knife

Sadly her arms were weak and slowly she was stabled in the stomach causing her to scream in pain as blood comes out from her stomach and mouth

And in that moment the door to her apartment opened revealing Honami, Ena, Mizuki and Mafuyu, with there eyes widening in horror especially Mafuyu 

"KANADE"
