A way to end this once and for all (III)(Finale)

6 AM

After having a early breakfast a hour prior with Mr. Akira leaving after Kanade woke up as he needed to be there at the Liverpool Cathedral before Kanade as she just woke up after training when she got back to prepare for possible attacks from multiple mercenaries that Ms. Asahina will hire to kill her as a 80 Billion Bounty was put into her head so she can't make it to the Cathedral so she can win by default as the time before sunrise in Liverpool will be 8:28

When they are finished eating with many giving her good luck Kanade left the area and starts riding White Carnation as White Carnation can move faster than a original horse and can surpass the speed of the latest fastest car 

With this she started to leave Manchester after checking the gear she had and then while exiting the city by using the main road she encountered multiple mercenaries that tried to kill her, to which they all failed as Kanade managed to master the FOV(Fraction of the Void) inside her that made her summon void portals to take the projectiles that was supposed to hit her and her horse and use the portal to reflect there attacks back on them 

Currently she managed to left Manchester and now she starts using Calvary Spin to close her distance to Liverpool

 But since her teleportation ability has a minute she had to use it 3 times to reach Liverpool which caught the mercenaries off guard but nevertheless they attacked her as her horse is now slowing down and is moving at the speed of an normal horse due to how much honkai energy Kanade used to teleport using Calvary Spin mixed with her Fractions of the void powers

Thou many might wonder if she used Calvary Spin she'd able to summon ACT 4 of Tusk right?, Yes but No

She'll instead summon ACT 3 of Tusk as she only has ACT 2 of Tusk and hasn't evolved her stand due to not facing a dangerous situation, And even she had Tusk ACT 3, it isn't suitable on fighting multiple opponents while moving and having a time limit to reach the Cathedral 

(For a short trivia despite Kanade not using a steel ball to do the Calvary spin she made, White Carnation a marble that can be like a steel ball and so the horse became the same material Kanade needed to do the Calvary spin)

And so she decided to take different routes that'll take her closer to  the Cathedral while using Tusk ACT 2 with her guns to engage the mercenaries who are now carrying anti-honkai weapons which can weaken her and white carnation

As a hour passed Kanade turned White Carnation back into a marble as the horse was hit by the anti-honkai weapons multiple times while trying to find a way to head to the cathedral as the roads heading there will be always be filled with mercenaries ready to ambush them

This caused her to enter the sewage system of the city where she made some few distractions first so she can't be detected, she also deactivated her powers so no one can detect her honkai energy presence in the sewers 

But this could only slowed them down in searching her until 20 minutes after that, she was surprised attack on one of the manholes she'd passed by which will lead her close to the cathedral and Kanade had to engage the mercenaries that entered the destroyed manhole to head there in time 

After engaging them and having to fight additional mercenaries that entered the destroyed manhole for some time and have dragon breath ammo in some of there guns that Kanade snatched in one of them and used it to the others  and sustaining blunt hits from blunt weapons or bullet shots that thankfully didn't hit her body due to her the perks of her upper outfit but she can still feel the pain of being hit by those shots, she exited in one of the manholes until she was about to fall from the ladder as she was starting to lose focus, until someone grabbed her hand and pulled her out revealing it to be Ichika

And as Ichika pulled her out Ichika spoke

Ichika: Kanade are you alright?

Kanade: *Groans in pain and was taking deep breaths*

Ichika: Kanade?

Kanade: I-I'm fine

Ichika: What time is sunrise?

Kanade: About *checks her watch* fuck 17 minutes left

Ichika: I need you to get up and start heading there Kanade

Kanade: You won't kill me here?

Ichika: You know I can't do that, we both know how that ended up that one time remember?

Kanade: Y-Yeah

Kanade then stands up and then Ichika unsheathes her cane sword blade and then Kanade saw Mercenaries taking positions to engage the both of them from afar 

Kanade: I can still use some my honkai abilities, hope you can watch my back as I use them

Ichika: Then cover my back while I handle those who had anti-honkai weaponry *pulls her custom SIG-Sauer P365 SAS with a Strike Industries Mass Driver compensator and a Recover Tactical ZR65 rail adapter from behind*

Kanade: Very well then

Ichika: Ready?

Kanade: Yeah

Minutes later(1 Minute before the duel starts)

At the entrance of the Liverpool Cathedral 

We can see the Herald sitting on a chair with a table infront of him containing a Leather Wooden Chest, with two people on his side as they'll assist him on the duel Kanade and Ichika will partake if Kanade managed to get at the cathedral on time

In each opposite chair was Ms. Asahina and Mr. Akira and as 8:28 nears Ms. Asahina spoke

Ms. Asahina: It appears Ms. Yoisaki won't be joining us how unfortunate

"I'm not so sure about that"

Suddenly Ms. Asahina's eyes widen as she saw Kanade and Ichika walking side by side as they made there presence known and both of them were panting

But then suddenly Ichika hits one of Kanade's palms using her cane sword, causing Kanade to grunt in pain

Ichika: Nothing personal, Kanade

Kanade: We're even now

Ichika: Yeah

This caused the Herald to stand up glad as he picks up his preaching like scarf infront of the chest he's looking at and then after Ichika and Kanade removed the clothes that protected them from being hit directly by bullet wounds leaving both of them wearing there white plain long sleeves business shirt and with that both of them kneel before the Herald as he spoke

Herald: And so we begin, We seek the truth and will endure

All: Consequences

With that the Herald turns the chest in front of them and then opened it revealing A pair of Thompson/Center Contender  break-action single-shot pistol with bullets for them to use to load it in the gun
