I'm still shocked by what happened last night but I'm still happy too. We finally..had a real conversation, a bit deeper this time. I didn't expect everything he said.

Now I feel bad for even suggesting we stop doing it every day. I didn't know it was that! It's not normal! His lifestyle isn't normal! I'm sure of it!

I'm glad he opened up a bit but he didn't want to talk about his family. Must be a sensitive topic knowing where they're at now.

I told him some things too...I don't know what it means...I convinced him to get tested at least. The fact that he told me such a thing must mean something right?

He wouldn't say that to any of his past..flings, right? Anyways as shocked as I am, I'm happy too. He doesn't want to lose me! I'm already that important to him!

I know that our situation isn't ideal but...I get to be with him every single day and he admitted that he likes being around me. He can't lose me. That's a big deal there! Maybe we are making progress even if we still do it every single day.

Oh gosh, I have to tell Rachel about all this!

"Rachel!" I shout all the while smiling.

"Woah, what's making you so happy at work today?" She asks.

"I have some news to tell you!" I say with my smiling ways of mine.

"Hmm, I really want to hear what it's all about but we have work right now."

"Oh..."

"Yeah, I need to finish this. How about...we go out together after work? You'll be able to chat with me about it. I sense it's quite important."

"Yes...thanks, Rachel."

"Have a good work day."

"You too"

I sit down at my desk and start my day of work all smiles.

After a hard-working day, it's finally time to head out, with Rachel! It's the first time we do that! I just texted Brandon to let him know I will arrive later. I know he won't like it but I'm allowed to, right?

"Ready to go?" She says.

"Yes," I smile.

We take all of our things and we head off the building.

"Where are we going?"

"We'll eat at my favourite restaurant. My threat."

"No, it's my threat I'm the one bothering you!"

"No, really I want to do this Rett. Let me." She smiles.

"Ok..." I say embarrassed.

She lets me in her car and we head to that restaurant of hers.

It turns out to be a beautiful restaurant. I like the vibe already. We demanded a table and now we are sitting at said table.

"Now, I'm actually curious. It's about Brandon right?"

"Yes.." I say feeling flustered.

"It's always about him. Judging by your reaction it's good news this time?"

"Yes! Well, some things worry me but I'm still happy!"

"Like what?" She asks worried.

I end up telling her about everything. I didn't know it would feel so good to tell someone about it. She really is my confidant. We ordered during that time and we already have our food.
