Brandon's pov

"I like you!" He says so loud that everyone hears him.

I'm so confused he likes me? Of course, he would like me. Then, why is he saying it like that?

"Of course you like me, I like you too," I say nonchalantly.

"You do?"

"Of course why on earth would I still be here with you?" His flushed cheeks seem to die down as his smile gets replaced with hurt.

"Brandon...it's not what I meant..."

"Then, what did you mean? You just said you like me. You stay with me because you like me."

"I don't think you understand right now.."

"Of course I understand!"

"No... you don't..."

I'm so confused...What does he mean I don't understand.

"What do I have to understand? You like me so you stick with me, period."

"No...I didn't say that because..."

We hear thunder and it interrupts us.

"Sh*t, it's gonna rain soon."

"Yeah...do you really wanna leave?"

"Yeah, I think I had enough of their crap."

"It's not crap..."

"Oh, sure it is. They can't keep their nose out of our business." He remains silent for a short while before saying something else.

"If...you really wanna go home...I'm going back with you."

"No! Go back to them! It's your family come on! This has nothing to do with you!"

"I...I don't want to stay...if you're not there." He blushes.

Huh? That's...kind of a surprise...I knew he liked being around me but to the point to leave an entire family hangout or whatever just for me is something else. Why does this make me somewhat happy?

"I'm surprised you would rather go with me than your own family but I guess I won't mind either way."

"Wait really? You don't mind?" He says all hopeful.

"Nah, I doubt I would go back to my apartment tonight."

"What? Are you sure? I thought you would go back.."

"Nah, it's better in your apartment."

"Um..do you want to go back to mine because..you want to be with me..?" He says all nervous as he anticipates my answer.

"Eh, I don't know why but it's better in your apartment and besides I could use some company." His eyes light up in surprise.

"You really like being together all the time?" Oh, sh*t...I shouldn't have said that...

"Not necessarily but I meant in another way you know?" I smirk and he blushes despite his obvious disappointment.

Is it me or suddenly I'm noticing every single mood difference of Garrett? Even small details that I never noticed before. Strange...
