I wake up to the sound of the rain, the people in the village collect the water and store it for later. We also think the rain is a blessing for watering our crops. And mostly our queens garden.
I grab the bucket in my room and take it outside to store fresh water for later. We don't do this when there's lighting but thankfully it's just rain. I take a hold of my umbrella so I can go out and say my wishes at the well before the children wake up. On my way I decide to see how the queens garden is doing, It's wonderful as always and I decide I'd pick out a delicious looking piece of corn. I'd never picked out from the garden but I was in the need of ingredients. I toke a hold of the corn and stored it in my basket where I keep my pennies. The basket is covered with another tiny umbrella that I for some reason keep. When I arrive at the well I throw in a couple of pennies and make my daily wishes. I head back home and go to sleep.
Sooner or later, the water stops.
I head back outside and take in the bucket I left outside. I head back outside to greet the kids as usual. The children are playing in the mud again. They use the mud to connect sticks together sometimes. The kids around my house seem to be doing that. I go out and help them build their muddy stick home. I am always in charge of finding the leaves because the children prefer getting the sticks. A few minutes later, the children finished connecting the sticks and we finally put the leaves on. But before I can, Veronica comes up to me. Her under-eyes are a darker shade of purple then yesterday. "Good morning Veronica!" The children scream out. She's very close with all the children around the village anyways. "Good morning Veronica." I say. Acting like I didn't see that she was clearly tired. "Good morning kids." Her voice sounds crispy and tired. "Veronic-" She takes a hold of my hand and asks if I want a cup of tea with her. "Of course.." Her approach scared me in a way. We get to her house and she starts making the tea quickly. "Say Veronica, Did you visit the well this morning?" I asked. It's something everyone does in the early mornings here in the village. ".." I get no reply from her. She suddenly starts coughing as if there's smoke in the house..worried, I run up to her trying the help. "Nicole..Go get my bucket of water.." I run all over trying the find her water bucket until I realized she didn't fill it up this morning. I run out of the house and get my bucket as quickly as I can, When I get back i immediately give her the water as if my life depends on it. Sooner or later, She told me she was sick and she needed more rest for now."Uhm..majesty," "Yes." "Why do you keep doing this? You've seen the sick people all because they are falling for your trick and eating everything you make!" "Then I'm glad they are. If I want to rule over something then why don't I get rid of the people first?" "Your majesty, Y-" "Guards!, call down to the second floor.."
"Your going to have some company."
