The Queens Special Garden.

Veronicas Special Pie

it's a normal day in the town. All of the delicious pies being made, oh I can smell it.. the people in the town take from the one who rules us. I however, have never taken anything from the queen. Most of these people have taken their ingredients from her garden. No wonder these pies and fruits smell so good recently. Good thing that the queen let's us take her delicious fruits, or they would be stealing. In the early morning,I see my friend, Veronica on a walk around the queens garden. "Veronica?" "Oh, Hello Nicole." She's looking at me as if I'm being to loud. I quiet down quickly and see she's picked some apples from the garden. "Are you making Apple pie today?" I said. "Of course. The children seem to enjoy it in a way." The kids in the town really enjoy my friend Veronicas pies. They are pretty good though so I understand. " How are the kids in the neighborhood doing? It's been a few days since I've visited the village." Veronica recently left The village to explore the ocean that's pretty far away from the village for the summer. "The Children are doing fine." I said. "I was planning to surprise them with the pie they all enjoy today. Speaking of that, could you help me pick out some more apples?" Veronica always needs tons of apples since theirs a lot of children in the village. "Of course." I said. But I've never been in the queens garden, and I don't know my way around. The people call this place the "Garden of Hope" I'm looking around quickly but the people in front of my ask me for help. "Where are the..Uhm..Corn?" "I'm so sorry but this is my first time..well in the garden." I run past the women and find a few fresh looking apples in the garden. Before I can even put my hands on the Apple, the quern arrived in the garden to greet the others who have arrived. I'm kinda far away from where she is. But I continue to pick the apple and put it in a basket. Running back to my friend Veronica. She had 7 when I first saw her, her pies take about 8 apples. "Veronica!" I said, "Nicole? How many did you find?" "Well..1" "that's fine. I already have about 7 so this should be the last one." I walk out of the garden, by the time I do, the queen has already gone back inside. I walk back to the village The kids around me seem to be playing with leaves and sticks and making some type of fake tree with it. I arrive home quickly. I head over to my fridge to get out some juice I made. Veronica gave me a couple of apples yesterday and I managed to make some juice. I drink, and drink. I head back outside to go to the well that's not to far away from the village. I arrive pretty quickly but it appears the children made it before me. Must children come to the well and put some sort of leaves and twigs inside. It's always better to arrive early. I was late today.
