"Are you ready to begin this night?" Jimin's mom screams.

"I am!" You scream too.

"So, I bought 2 bottles of Soju, one is for you, the other one is for me. We have the TV, popcorn, and everything else. Finally, a night for us only."

"I missed you a lot. We even had to kick Jimin out of his own house to stay alone."

"Don't worry honey, he's gonna be okay without us. I'm sure he's with his friends now."

Mi-Jeong and you chose to watch The Notebook. It's been a while since you watched it, and it was with her too. You're really close to her, as if she were your own mother instead of Jimin's. At that time, you didn't want to watch it, because you knew you would have cried (and you did). However, here you go again. She convinced you to watch it again, knowing you'll cry once more. The Notebook is Jimin's favourite film too, and you're starting to feel guilty, since he's not here; both of you watching his favourite film.

...

At the end of the film, you and Mi-Jeong are crying, you on her already wet shoulder.

"Why did you even convince me? I shouldn't have agreed to watch it! We could have watched the Little Prince instead." You cry.

"You would cry on it too!" She blows her nose with a handkerchief. "Fine, now, let's talk."

"Mh?"

"Stop faking it. I see how you look at Jimin. Was it just a kiss?" Oh, she's smart. You gotta admit it.

"Actually...no."

"I knew it! Please use protect-"

"No!" You stop her. "We didn't do that. We didn't go that far."

"I'll buy condoms to him either way."

"Stop, you're making me embarassed!" You cover your face with your hands.

"Honey, I was a teenager too. I know how this goes." You just nod. "I only hope one of you won't ruin everything you two have." She seems worried. "I love you both and I can't lose either of you."

"Why should we ruin our friendship? We would never do that."

"I know, but sometimes things happen, you know..." She hugs you, her chin on the top of your head. "You changed a lot during your childhood. I love who you are now, and I loved who you were before, but your behaviour didn't change with Jimin. I really appreciate how you act with my son, so thank you for always being there for him. I would never want to lose what you two have either, that would hurt so much."

"I can't seem to even imagine how my life without him would be. I mean, I didn't even have a life before him. I only know my life after Jimin." She smiles, listening to how much you love her son.

"And that's the only answer you need."

"What do you mean?"

"To your confusion."
