Hayden wakes up as he remembers the nightmare he has every night about what happened in Highschool.

Until now,  he was still traumatized.

He fears that Michelle is gonna have her revenge towards him.

The thing is, he didn't do anything.

And that's also the problem, he didn't do anything.

He takes a shower and prepares to meet Brad and his friends.

So much has happened through the years.

He became part of Brad's friend group, He still thinks it's because they share the same secret, one fucked up secret.

He was surprised about the way Brad and his friends treated him over the years.

They were nice to him and they really welcomed him in the friend group even though he's not a jock, even though he's not athletic.

Michelle went missing after the incident.

She was never found, that's what Hayden is scared of.

He was the last person Michelle is with.

Makes him an automatic suspect.

Years passed and they dropped the case, and everyone moved on like nothing really happened that night.

Everyone, except for Hayden.

He finishes his shower and he receives a text from Brad.

"I'm at Starbucks, see you there"

All of them moved to New York to start a new life.

Kyle and Brad shares the same building but not the same apartment.

Joseph lives across them and Justin's got his own apartment because his family owns an apartment in New York.

Hayden has to drive to get there.

Hayden doesn't feel like he's in the group so he's the only one that's not living close to them.

He changes clothes and grabs his apartment keys and gets out of the house.

Starbucks is only a block from his apartment so he decides he'll just walk.

It is very cloudy but not a hint of rain that's gonna come.

It's a very weird day for Hayden.

The nightmare of the events that happened keeps replaying in his head.
Was this to torment him?

For making friends with those assholes?

There is no redeeming for what they did but somehow Hayden still sees the good in them.

Did they really change?

Do people really deserve second chances?

Apparently for Hayden they do.

He stops in front of Starbucks and Brad waves at him from the inside.

He gets inside Starbucks and Brad greets him with a smile as he walks towards him.

"Where is everybody?" Hayden asks.

"They're coming" Brad smiles.

Brad leads Hayden to their table and they wait for their friends to come.

"So how's writing?" Brad asks.

"Still not published"

"But you're not giving up aren't you?"
