The trio had been walking for what felt like a long time, trying to escape the sandstorm. Eventually, they found a cave and took shelter there while they planned their next move.
"He's going to unleash it." Jane says, "Not just on Asgard, or a star. Malekith is going to destroy everything."
"How?" Thor askes, wondering how she got the idea, "Jane, how?"
"I saw him on Earth." She responds, "Why would he go to Earth?"
"The Convergence." Zima states in a monotone voice, "Perfect place to attack all the realms at one time."
"Oh, my God. None of this would have happened if I hadn't found the Aether." Jane says.
"Then Malekith would've only possessed it that much sooner." Thor says, trying to reassure her.
"I only found it because I was looking for you." Jane says, "And now we're trapped here."
The silence was broken by the obnoxious ringtone from Jane's phone, the trio each having confused expressions.
"What is that horrible noise?" Zima asked, her question unanswered as Jane took the call. As she talked with the person on the other end, 'Richard' as she said, Thor watched in jealousy, and Zima in confusion. Jane clearly wasn't really paying attention, and using the call to follow deeper into the cave and finding a portal to England, the two gods following. They all climbed into Jane's vandalized car and drove to meet up with Darcy, Ian, and Selvig.
"Jane!" Darcy exclaims the second the trio walked in, "You can't just leave like that! The whole world is going crazy. All the stuff we saw is spreading." She then noticed the Asgardian dress Jane was wearing, while Thor and Zima silently stood by the doorway, the former hanging Mjolnir on the coat rack. "Did you go to a party?"
Jane ignored Darcy's question and turned to Selvig
"Erik?" She asked.
"Jane!" He responds, and the two hug, "You've been to Asgard."
"Where are your pants?" Jane asked, noticing he wasn't wearing any.
"He says it helps him think." Ian responds.
"Well, I'm going to need everything you got on this." Jane continues, "All the work you've been doing on gravimetric anomalies, everything."
"Okay." Selvig responds as he goes to get the research.
"Are you well, Erik?" Thor asks.
"Your brother's not coming, is he?" Selvig asks.
"Loki is dead." Thor responds.
"Oh, thank God!" Selvig exclaims in relief, then quickly correcting himself when Thor gives him a confused expression and Zima glares at him with her eyes flashing red. "I'm so sorry." He adds.
The group then gathered around the main table to plan their next move and get each other caught up.
"Malekith is going to fire the Aether at a spot where all the nine worlds are connecting." Jane explains.
"Amplifying the weapon's impact." Selvig adds, "For each additional world, the power will increase exponentially. The effect would be universal."
"Yes, but the alignment is only temporary," Thor adds, "He must be in exactly the right place at the right time."
"Well, how do we know where that is?" Darcy asks.
"We follow the directions." Selvig states, clearing another table and pulling up a large map of England. "This has happened before thousands of years ago, and the Ancients were there to see it. All the great constructions, the Mayans, the Chinese, the Egyptians. They made use of the gravitational effects of the Convergence. And they left us a map. Stonehenge, Snowdon, the Great Orme. These are all coordinates taking us... here." As he was explaining, he was drawing on the map, showing the location he was talking about.
