"What's the matter?" Steve asked them, "You two scared of a little lightning?"
"I'm not overly fond of what follows." Loki replies.
"He's always making an entrance." Zima says with a hint of annoyance.
There was a thud outside the Quinjet as Tony put his helmet on and opened the hatch, where Thor dropped in. Tony tried to fire a repulsor blast, but was knocked back by the God of Thunder. Thor then turned to grab Loki, stopping when he sees Zima, a look of surprise on his face. Thor then takes Loki and leaves while Zima shakes her head in irritation before turning to Tony and Steve.
"Well, boys, this has been fun, but I'm afraid I'll have to leave." She says before jumping out and free falling behind them. She eventually landed on a small cliff area behind the two gods. "Hey, nice of you to drop by, Thor." She remarks.
"Where is the Tesseract?" Thor demanded, ignoring Zima's comment.
"I've missed you, too." Loki replies.
"Do I look to be in a gaming mood?" Thor asked angrily.
"You should thank me." Loki says, "With the Bifrost gone, how much dark energy did the Allfather have to muster to conjure you both here, your precious Earth?"
"You and I both know I know other ways." Zima says, "Besides, I doubt he knows I'm here."
Thor, meanwhile, was quickly growing tired of this and dropped Mjolnir before picking up Loki as he tried to stand. "We thought you dead." He says.
"Did you mourn?" Loki asked.
"We all did. Especially me." Zima says, her voice very serious as she remembered what happened a year ago.
"Our father..." Thor started, but Loki cut him off.
"Your father." He says. "He did tell you my true parentage, did he not? And her? Did he tell you about her?"
"That has nothing to do with this." Zima says.
"We were raised together." Thor says, again ignoring her, "We played together. We fought together. Do you remember none of that?"
"I remember a shadow." Loki replies, "Living in the shade of your greatness. I remember you tossing me into an abyss, I who was, and should be, king!"
"And what about us?" Zima asked. "Or have you forgotten about me as well, while I never forgot about you?"
"Believe me, I remember." Loki says.
"Do you now?" Zima asks.
"Enough." Thor tells them. "The Earth is under my protection, Loki."
"And you're doing a marvelous job at that." Loki remarks, "The humans slaughter each other in droves while you idly fret. I mean to rule them, as why should I not?"
"You think yourself above them?" Thor asks.
"Well, yes."
"Then you miss the truth of ruling, brother. A throne would suit you ill."
Loki angrily shoved Thor aside and turned to the edge of the cliff, while Zima stepped aside. "I've seen worlds you've never known about!" He says, "I have grown, Odinson, in my exile. I have seen the true power of the Tesseract, and when I wield it..."
"Who showed you this power?" Thor asked, "Who controls the would-be king?"
"I am a king!"
"Not here! You give up the Tesseract! You give up this poisonous dream!" Thor yells.
"And come home." Zima finishes. "Please. Don't do this."
"I don't have it." Loki says as Thor summons Mjolnir. "You need the Cube to bring me home. But I've sent it off, I know not where."
"You listen well, brother." Thor says, before he is tackled by Iron Man.
"I'm listening." Loki remarks, earning an eye roll from Zima as she turns away. "What, nothing to say this time?"
"Just know that our conversation is not finished." She responds. "And I have a lot to say, but it seems once again now is not the time. I doubt this fight between them will be long."
