𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑯𝑶𝑼𝑺𝑬 𝑰𝑺 𝑨 𝑪𝑰𝑹𝑪𝑼𝑺 𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒄 𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒌𝒆𝒚𝒔

𝐷𝑈𝐸 𝑇𝑂 𝑇𝐻𝐸 𝑊𝐻𝑂𝐿𝐸 father situation with Juno, Stiles had offered for her to stay with him tonight. She knew that he was keeping Derek hidden at his house since he didn't exactly have anywhere else to go, but Juno was fine with that. They had told Derek that Juno was there to help Derek since he didn't really trust Stiles. Derek didn't think he was against him, he just thought very little of Stiles. Per Juno's request, they had covered up Juno staying at the Stilinski's to escape her father pretty well.
The two teenagers had just gotten to the Stilinski's house and into Stiles's room. They didn't even realize that Derek was standing in the corner of Stiles's room until the boy in question turned around when his father called him from the hall. "Yo, D-Derek?"
Derek shot his finger to his lips before signalling angrily at the door, trying to tell them both to be quiet. Stiles looked back at Juno, completely lost as to what he should be doing in this situation in which the sheriff was on the other side of the door from a fugitive. Juno just lightly shoved him and pointed towards the door. Juno stayed where she was, but was prepared to block the door in case Sheriff Stilinski tried to get in while Stiles basically barricaded the door from his dad with his body.
"What'd you say?" Juno could hear the conversation going on outside. "What? I said yo d-dad."
The sheriff just shook it off. "Listen, I've got something to take care of, but I'm gonna be there tonight. I mean, your first game!"
"My first game. It's great! Awesome. Uh, good." Stiles was really struggling to play it cool, which was the cause of why Juno's head was in her hands.
"I'm very happy for you and I'm really proud of you." Stiles's dad spoke with a proud smile on his face. It wasn't a look that Stiles had seen too often, not because his father was never proud of him, it was just that after his mother had died, Stiles and his dad hadn't had the best conversational relationship. They couldn't just speak to each other.
"Thanks. Me too. I'm happy and proud...of myself." Juno's nose scrunched as she cringed at her friend's response. She was happy that, despite Stiles being stressed out about Derek being in his house and butchering the cover up, he got to have a nice moment with his dad. Juno has found herself often times to be quite jealous of Stiles solely because of how his dad treats him.
