Leah and I walked out onto the pitch to look around " I'm just gonna stand here and wait for stanners" Leah said , I laughed before nodding my head and walking over to Katie and Wally, we talked for a while before I heard a loud scream, I turned around and say Leah hugging Georgia, I walked over as the two pulled out of the hug " Stanners!" I called walking over with a giddy smile on my face, G ran over to me and pulled me into a hug " Smithyyy how have you been" G said loudly into my ear, I pulled out of the hug " good how about you" I asked, Leah walked over and we carried on talking. " right we have got to go now, see you later G" I said " bye guys" G said as we walked off, Leah turned around and gave Stanway a wave before turning back around and walking to the changing rooms.
" Yes Wally" I shouted, we had won the kick off and Wally got played the ball. I received the ball and immediately looked for another open pass, I saw Katie was open, so I lobbed the ball to the other half of the pitch, Katie crossed it into the box, stina got her head on it but put it over the bar " Nice Work girls! Keep this up!" I shouted clapping my hands.
It was around the 12 minute, I had the ball near the throw-in line, the Bayern player kept pushing me and pushing me, I fell over after a hard shove and brought the ball with me, I brought the ball to my chest while laying on the floor so the Bayern player couldn't get it and also gave the ref some time to decide. The Bayern player grabbed my shirt while I was laying on the floor, trying to get the ball of me, I smacked her hand away, she then started to try and kick the ball out of my hands, by this time some of the arsenal and Bayern players had come over trying to get her away and also trying to get the ball of me, she kicked me in the chest which made me drop the ball and hold onto my chest " what the fuck" I heard Leah shout " ref! She's just kicked our player" Wally shouted at the ref, I slowly got up to my feet and bent over holding my chest, I lifted my head up to the ref " she kicked my chest and fouled me before the ball went out of play, surely that's a free kick and a yellow card" I said trying to catch my breath, Leah came up to me and lifted my arms up, I stood up straight while Leah still had hold of my arms, she held them above my head " hold them there" Leah said softly looking into my eyes. I'm the end the ref decided to give us a free kick but said that she didn't see the kick so she couldn't give anything for it, which I can see way she can't give it but it's very annoying.
In 20th minutes, we were on the attack and Katie tried to pass it to Wally, the ref got in the way of Wally and made us lose possession, the ref carried on play " Oi ref!" I shouted still being up for the counter attack " ref!" I shouted following her, the ball went out of play " you got in the way of our attack, you should have pulled that back" I said " I didn't get in the way of the attack" the ref announced walking away, I followed her " our player literally fell on to the floor, why else would she fall on to the floor if we were in a counter attack!" I said getting annoyed " walk away before you get a card" the ref said moving away, i huffed and turned around and walked past Leah, she gave me a pat on the back before the game resumed.
" Pen!" I and a few of the girls shouted at the ref, " ref that's a pen" Leah said running over " she clearly touched it with her arm!" I shouted stepping in-front of all the arsenal girls and getting close to the ref " move away now!" The ref demanded, Leah pulled my shoulder back " watch yourself" Leah whispered into my ear, I turned my head and gave her a shocked look to which she gave me a soft smile " your not in the wrong, I agree with all the things you've appealed for but just be careful yeah?" Leah said softly, walking us both away from the situation.
Half time went and a few more arguments with the ref happened, I went and sat down near to leahs cubby, I rested my arms on my knees with my bottle in my hand, you could see my hands shaking a little bit from the feeling of anger tearing through my body, I noticed my hands shaking slightly so I moved my hands behind my back and kept them there. I felt someone hand interlock with one of my hands, I looked over and saw it was Leah, she gave me a soft smile and made all my anger go away.
We walked out of the changing rooms at the same time that Stanway did, she walked over to us " that ref might as well have a Bayern shirt on" I said to Georgia, she giggled before shaking her head " she has been a bit on our side to be fair" Georgia replied before running off to her side of the pitch while me and Leah made our way to our side of the pitch.
"HEY HEY! SHES JUST DONE A PASS BACK!" I shouted running over to the ref, all the other arsenal players in the box ran over as well " REF! That was a pass back!" Leah shouted from next to me " move away from the ref" one of the Bayern players said stepping in front of the ref "MOVE!" I shouted at the Bayern player pushing her slightly away " NUMBER 7 SMITH STOP THAT NOW!" The ref shouted at me " look at all these arsenal players claiming for a pass back, the pass back couldn't have been anymore clear" I said pointing at the arsenal players that were still standing around the ref " Well it's my decision and that's final" the ref said " Well your de-" I was cut off by Leah who pulled me into her chest and walk us both away " what did I say in the first half" Leah said letting go off me and walking away.
It was the 83rd minute and we had managed to get a free kick just outside of the box, the Bayern player wouldn't let go of the ball, Katie was trying to get the ball of her, I ran over and pushed the Bayern player over before grabbing the ball and bringing it to the spot were the foul was, the ref blew her whistle before running over to me showing me a yellow card " okay, I don't care" I said shrugging my shoulders and getting in line with Leah in the box " you can't go one game with out getting a yellow can you" Leah giggled " yeah I can, remember that game like maybe 3 seasons ago, I didn't get a card in that one" I smirked " ohh yeah the one where you got taken of at half time so you didn't get a card" Leah laughed " yep that exact one" I smiled before getting ready for the cross.
We were into extra time and had at least a minute and half to go, I had received a long ball from Leah, I brought it down on my chest and before I even knew it I had felt some studs go into my chest, I fell on to the floor holding my chest and burying my head into the grass, I heard the arsenal players shouting at the ref and the Bayern player, who only got a yellow, I felt someone pull me onto my back and take my hand of my top which revealed blood on my shirt, I looked up to see it was Leah and Wally stood over me, Leah lifted my shirt to see massive cut wounds and blood dripping down my tummy, Stanway turned and look at me on the floor and saw my cuts " guys shut up!" She shouted over everyone, which got everyone's attention, a few of the Bayern players turned around and saw the site I was in and immediately started to wave over the medics fast. I moved my head to face Leah, she rubbed my cheek as my eyes started to shut....
