11: Sweet Treat

It's Monday afternoon and Beomgyu finished two of his classes. He's hungry. He decided to go to a sandwich shop for lunch that isn't a far walk from the campus.

While he was walking to the sandwich shop, he checks his phone for any notifications he had missed while he was in class. Not wanting any distractions, he always puts his phone on silent when he attends his classes. After checking, he noticed that he received a message and reads who the notification was from.

Kang Taehyun

Beomgyu's heart fluttered at the name and the corners of his lips curved up. He quickly opened up the message.

Kang Taehyun
Have a good day at school :)

His mood instantly lifted after reading the text message from Taehyun. He noticed the time stamp was from an hour ago.

thank u :)
do u have any plans today?

Beomgyu is genuinely curious about Taehyun. He wants to get to know him and wants to know what a day for Taehyun would consist of.

Probably head to the gym
I woke up not too long ago
What about you?

Oh. Does Taehyun not go to school?

There was nothing wrong about someone not attending college. Beomgyu believes there must be a reason, if that's the case for Taehyun, but they aren't close enough yet so he doesn't want to ask something that may be too personal. Taehyun would tell him when he's comfortable to share these kinds of things with Beomgyu.

right now then i have another
class at 2

It doesn't take long for Taehyun to reply.

Beomgyu felt his stomach flutter with butterflies after reading that message. Taehyun asked to hang out with him which means he wants to see him again. He stares at the smiley face for a couple seconds before he types his next message.

Choi Beomgyu
i would like that :)

Beomgyu would like that very much indeed.

Beomgyu and Taehyun continued texting each other until it was time for Beomgyu to go to his next class. Since Beomgyu wouldn't be able to message Taehyun for awhile, he decided to head to the gym.

Taehyun is at the gym. As he was doing a boxing routine he heard his phone ring. Someone was calling him. Taehyun stopped his punches on the punching bag. He took his boxing gloves off then wiped the sweat off his forehead while panting.

He walked toward the bench where his things were and grabbed his phone to check who was calling.
