5: New Friend

It was Saturday afternoon and Beomgyu just woke up. He heard someone was in the apartment. He lazily got out of bed and came out of his room.

Soobin and his boyfriend were sitting on the couch watching something. Beomgyu didn't say a word while staring at the tv screen. He just woke up so he didn't have the energy to do anything but stand there and observe what the fuck Soobin and his boyfriend were watching. Like why did the character have a chainsaw for a face?

It was obvious the couple was watching an anime. Anime never interested him. Actually he barely watches tv. It's pretty obvious what his main entertainment is.

Video games duh.

Soobin's boyfriend noticed Beomgyu's presence and greeted him with a smile, "Good morning Gyu."

"Yeonjun Hyung, it's 1pm," Beomgyu deadpanned. He didn't take his eyes off the screen. What the fuck are these knuckleheads watching?

Yeonjun snickered, "That's morning for you."

"You know it's not healthy to skip the most important meal of the day," Soobin teased, not taking his eyes off the tv screen because he didn't want to miss anything. The couple was watching Chainsaw Man.

Beomgyu turned to the couple and glared at them. He didn't say anything and then turned towards his bedroom. As he enters his room, he drops himself on his bed. Beomgyu is on his back with his arms covering his eyes and legs bent over the edge of the bed. He didn't bother to shut his door.

Yeonjun blinked.

"Did I do something wrong?" Yeonjun worriedly asked his boyfriend.

Soobin reached for the remote to pause the anime and shifted back to his boyfriend and to snuggle him closer. "No baby," Soobin softly spoke. He gave Yeonjun a peck on the cheek and then he teasingly explained, "he's just being dramatic. He had his first gay panic yesterday and it wasn't over Ryan Reynolds this time."

"I can hear you!" Beomgyu yelled from his bedroom.

Soobin chuckled at his little brother's distress.

Yeonjun gasped, "Gyu finally found someone that is more interesting than video games?" He giggled then raised his voice to congratulate Beomgyu like he made the biggest achievement in the world, "I'm proud of you Gyu!"

That's when Beomgyu decided to come out. He stomped his way over to the couple who was clearly amused by his behavior today.

Beomgyu pointed at Yeonjun and complained, "Wipe that smile off your face this is not funny!" He groaned and plopped himself on the couch next to Soobin, "I hope I never see him again," he pouted with his arms crossed.

Soobin pulled away from his boyfriend and faced Beomgyu who was visibly having a crisis. He wants nothing but happiness for his little brother. So being the good big brother he is, he wants to stop with the teasing and actually sympathize his brother. He begins to comfort him.

Soobin looks at Beomgyu with concern, "Why? You never really explained last night."

Beomgyu sighs and gives an actual explanation this time, "I never been so embarrassed in my life. I wouldn't stop staring at him. It was like I was put in a trance because I couldn't look away. But you should have seen him and his friends. One of them was making fun of me and I was so nervous, especially in front of the most handsome stranger I have ever seen, then the devil himself smiled at me so I panicked and ran away. He probably thinks I'm a weirdo anyways so I'd rather not see him ever again. It would save myself from more humiliation."
