Phil's PoV
Our arrival at the café was an interesting one. Dan pulled into the parking lot and parked the car. "Alright!" I exclaimed, excited to meet our YouTube friends. I glanced around at the mostly empty lot and sighed. It wouldn't be too crowded. Dan and I started to walk towards the building when we heard a loud scream. I girl stood there, smiling with delight, phone in hand.
"Oh my God! Dan! Phil!" she shouted. "I love you guys so much!" I smiled and she ran over, throwing her arms around my waist and Dan's shoulders in an awkward hug.
"Aww," I said, patting her awkwardly on the back. "Do you want a picture?" She nodded and took out her phone with the front facing camera. She snapped the pic and showed it to us. It came out really good. Her silver/blue hair fell nearly around her shoulders and her tan arm was wrapped around my shoulder. Dan was behind us holding up peace-signs.
"I love it!" she exclaimed. "Thank you guys so much!" She hugged us one more time before walking off. Before leaving entirely, she turned and screamed, "I SHIP PHAN!"
I giggled and smiled at Dan. "She was nice." He smiled and nodded, but then just stopped and walked towards the café again. "Dan?" I asked. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing," he snapped. "You wouldn't understand. You don't remember." I watched him walk in from my spot as I let a salty tear roll down my cheek.
"I don't remember what?"

"Chris! Back away from the freaking doughnuts!" I shouted for the millionth time.
"Sorry! I'm hungry," he snapped.
"We'll eat when-" I began, but I didn't finish because Dan burst in. I smiled. "Pick out a doughnut," I said, tossing him money for it. I looked back at Dan but my smile faded when I realized two things. One: he looked extremely pissed, and two: Phil wasn't with him. "Hey, man," I greeted him hesitantly.
"Hi," he replied gloomily, slumping down in the booth across from me. "I need to tell you something before..." He trailed off, looking out the glass window at Phil, who was trudging slowly inside.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Phil and I dated before he fell out the window and lost his memory and now he doesn't remember and I'm really sad because some fan just came up and told us she shipped her and-" he finally stopped his ramble and took a breath. "And I love him."
The door jingled open and Phil smiled weekly. A forced smile. Obviously, whatever Dan had done outside had upset him. Dan forced a smile as well and scooted over so Phil could sit next to him.
"Phil!" Chris greeted. "Do you want a doughnut?" Phil nodded and went up to pick one out with Chris.
"Tell him the truth," I mouthed at Dan when Phil wasn't watching.
He shook his head and mouthed back: "I can't. He'll hate me for not telling me sooner, and new Phil might not approve."
"So what?" I mouthed angrily.
He sighed and shrugged. I flicked a straw wrapper at him. He giggled slightly. "Okay," he admitted out loud. "I will."
"You will what?" asked a giggling Chris followed by a snickering Phil.
"I will be fucking amazing!" Dan exclaimed.
"Dream on," Phil said, "I'm the amazing one!"
"Settle your asses down!" I shouted.
When we had all finally sat, Dan chuckled. "We are going to be the best of friends."
