I open my eyes to bright sun burning my retinas, and wipe the drool from my cheek. Atleast I won't have to worry about any unwanted attention, look at me! I am covered from head to toe in either mud or blood, twigs and bits of forest clinging to the mats in my hair. I look like a walking shrubbery. Oh, and the best part: I'm stark freaking naked!

Fucking werewolves.

I can hear hushed voices from just beyond the door and focus in with my wolf's ears.

"What is that filthy rogue bitch doing here?" A woman's sharp voice asks. "Why didn't they just kill her?"

"Well, she put up a good fight. She nearly killed Nathaniel, and for some reason Alpha thinks she can be of use," a man's voice responds. So Nathaniel must be Blondie... I was almost positive that I killed him.

"She's lucky she didn't or I'd kill her myself." The man just grunts in response, clearly not wanting to be involved any further. That bitch, does she not know what kind of man Blondie is? He would have raped me, I know it. I could smell the danger and desire on him, a deadly mix. I saw it in his eyes. Maybe they're all psychos here... No. I can't let myself think that way. I can't lose hope. I just need to find Raja and get the hell out of here. The opening of the door silences my thoughts, and a man steps through, a tray in his hand. He has short dark hair and a five o'clock shadow. I hurry to cover as much as I can of my naked body and he blushes. He steps closer and slides the tray across the floor. Until now I hadn't noticed the chains connecting my feet and hands to the iron bed. The cuffs are just loose enough that I can reach down and pick up the apple off of the tray. He also brought me a water bottle and a granola bar.

"So, you must be the rogue that gave our boys such a hard time yesterday." His voice is gruff, but not hostile or angry, more curious than anything.

"And you must be the lunch lady," I say, my voice dripping with sarcasm. He just smiles and nodds. I can tell that he is struggling to look in my eyes while my body is on display, and my face heats up at his intense gaze. After a minute of just staring, he pulls his shirt over his head and tosses it at me. I cant put it on because of the cuffs, but atleast I can somewhat shield my body with it. He stands in front of me in just his dark wash jeans and I can't help but stare. His chest and torso are ripped, his individual muscles straining against his skin, but that isn't what has my attention. He is also covered in scars, and I can't find a scrap of skin on him that doesn't have either a scar or a tattoo. He clears his throat and I blush again.

"I expected you to have a smart mouth. But is your brain of the same intelligence? You attacked three of our pack's best warrior's and even our Alpha. That doesn't seem very smart now, does it?" My jaw dropped and it took all of my restraint not to chuck my apple at his head.

"For your information, I didn't attack anyone. Those bafoons attacked me for no reason other than to deflower and kill me. That doesn't seem very smart, does it?" The man looks startled by my words, and stays silent for a moment. Without looking in my direction he stands and leaves.

Great job, Thea. Our only way of getting information just got up and left.

I let out a shaky sigh and wrap my arms around my knees, the cuffs on my wrists and ankles stinging. I think about Raja and where his is right now, if hes okay. If something happened to that poor pup I will be devastated. I took him in, it was my job to protect him. He came back for me.

I turn my head as the man from earlier walks into the room, sitting down in a chair opposite me. He appears troubled.

"What is your name, " he asks, rubbing the gray stubble on his chin with one hand. I think about lying or ignoring him, but it won't make much of a difference at this point.
